This mountain retreat features a huge covered deck, gas fireplace, designer kitchen, and a large first floor game room ensuring a comfortable and entertaining stay for families or groups of friends. - All bed linens, pillows, blankets, and towels are included, Washer & dryer on site, and we include hand soap, bath soap, toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, etc.

This brand new construction home has everything you need to have a fantastic getaway with family or friends. Set on a quiet street with plenty of wildlife in the area. A well thought out home equipped with a large game area that will give you and your guests plenty to do. When you head upstairs to the well designed Great room you will find a gorgeous kitchen with everything you need to feed your guests. You cannot have a Black Bear Lodge without the mounted Black bear, and 65” TV over the fireplace. You will have plenty of space to eat at the 10’ custom made table just off the kitchen. Outdoor seating and a New Webber grill provide an outdoor entertainment area. With this large home you will never run out of hot water with the on demand hot water tank.
Each of the three levels of living space include two bedrooms and one full bathroom. There is a full bathroom located on every single floor of this home.
The first level Game Room offers; 8’ pool table, Beverage/bar area with beverage cooler, sectional sofa, Poker table, dart board, and a huge 75" Smart TV.
Guests will enjoy the entire home and all of its amenities. The property has a very large driveway and can accommodate up to 8 vehicles. Please note that Towamensing Trails requires parking passes for all vehicles included during your stay. We provide up to 5 passes at no cost. Additional passes can be purchased at $25/pass. Your reservation at Black Bear Lodge grants you FULL access to the private community of Towamensing Trails' amenities. Each reservation includes up to 8 wrist bands, under 5 do not require a wristband. Community amenities such as the lake, in-ground pool, clubhouse, hiking trails, tennis, and basketball courts. Wristbands are required for entry. They are available only in the summer.
Our home is fully sanitized in between stays in accordance with CDC Guidelines to ensure your health and safety.
Work Station – Ready for that away from the office work meeting with Free Un-Limited High Speed WiFi- Up to 629 Mbps, and the smart TVs are hardwired for no lagging.
Smart TVs- There is one in each room available to load your personal streaming accounts such as Hulu, NetFlix, etc. Streaming accounts are not included, but There is a Tivo box on the main floor hooked up to the 75’ TV on that level.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of the Owners closet on the first level across the hall from the utility room.

Other things to note
Check in - You will be given an access key code to enter the home through a smart lock. This makes check ins simple and easy. Due to the size of this home, we require a minimum of 6 guests to book. Certain dates and holidays have a minimum night stay. Please note that certain dates and holidays have minimums. Contact host for additional details.

Must be at least 24 years of age to book a reservation. *A short term rental agreement along with other waiver forms will be required upon booking. *Due to local noise ordinances, a 24-hour noise monitoring (not recording) devices both inside and outside.

** No Smoking - Absolutely no smoking is permitted inside the home.

**Located just 10-15 minutes to Jack Frost/Big Boulder, 13 minutes to Pocono Raceway, 10 minutes to Skirmish USA Paintball, 10 minutes to Hickory Run State Park and Hawk Falls. 20 Mins to Jim Thorpe. Other area attractions are just a short drive to other ski resorts, lakes, state parks, casinos and indoor water parks.

*Lake and Pool are Open from Mid June - Early September Hour 11a-6pm. There are 8 passes available for tenants and children under 5 do not need a pass. Tenants cannot use their own kayaks or boats. Paddle boats are available to rent. Hickory Run state Park offers a free lake 8 mins away.
