Introducing "Suite Reunion," a charming vacation retreat nestled in Michigan City, Indiana, just a short walk to the picturesque beaches of Lake Michigan. This delightful duplex, exclusively reserved for your enjoyment, promises the perfect getaway for families and friends seeking relaxation and adventure alike.

Boasting a prime location, Suite Reunion is ideally situated within a 10-minute stroll to the pristine shores of Lake Michigan at Sheridan Beach. It is conveniently close to Washington Park, the zoo, Blue Chip Casino, and the Lighthouse Outlet Mall, as well as an array of restaurants and breweries.

Pet-friendly and thoughtfully designed to accommodate up to 12 guests, this spacious retreat features a total of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms spread across two units. This upper unit greets you with a cozy & colorful living space, a fully equipped kitchen & dining area, and two inviting bedrooms. Bedroom 1 offers a queen bed, a twin bed, and an attached Ÿ bath with a walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 features one full and one twin bed, and an additional sleeping space provides another twin bed. A hallway full bath with a combo tub/shower ensures comfort and convenience for all guests. This top-floor suite can sleep up to 7 guests.

Venture downstairs to the lower suite, where another well-appointed living room, dining area and kitchen await. You'll also find a washer and dryer, ensuring a stress-free stay. There are 2 bedrooms in this unit: Bedroom 4 boasts a queen bed with an attached Ÿ bath, while Bedroom 5 offers a twin over twin bunk bed with an additional twin trundle. A hallway full bath completes the lower level accommodations. The two suites have separate entrances.

Outside, ample parking for 5-6 cars ensures hassle-free arrivals, while a cozy firepit invites evenings of warmth and camaraderie under the starlit sky. Relax in the hammock among the trees, or take a short walk down to the end of the road to visit neighborhood favorites Dune Billie's Cafe or Cool Runnings Jamaican restaurant. This home offers a large yard, with an outdoor dining set & BBQ grill.

Suite Reunion is available for rent with a minimum 2-night stay, or a 3-night minimum over major summer holidays.

We were pleasantly surprising how lovely the home is. We enjoyed how open the common living areas were, having a two kitchens with large counter tops, and the mostly private backyard.

Worked well for family reunion in August

Some family flew intoChicago (then took train). Some drove from Ohio. We liked the separate apartments and 5 bedrooms( one is a nook for one person). The back deck is nice and has entrance inside with stairs up or down for each apt like a split level. The AC did not reach upstairs during the really hot days. Downstairs was cool. Kitchens were well equipped - only the skillets need replaced and a big pasta colander would be helpful! Used the beach chairs- thanks! Unfortunately the wagon had 2 flat tires. The area is residential, easy to get to the uncrowded beach-10-15 min walk, Dune Billies close by and delicious. Dunes NP is close. Loved the Hesston steam train museum for the kids. ( weekends only). We’d come here again!

Reviewer Comments: This house worked out quite well for us to come back to MC and host family for Thanksgiving when no one still in town has room for the whole family to gather in one place. Overall we were quite pleased. The only issue at this time of year was the basement portion of the house was quite cold.

The layout of the house makes it so easy to spread out and have two floors of entertainment and cooking if you'd like. The beds were so comfortable and everything we needed was there. The location is cozy and just across the street from a cute park. You're also so close to so many breweries, wineries, the casino and the lake.
