We can only reiterate the positive comments of previous guests about location, Raniero the host, and the flat itself. The kitchen had everything we needed, the lounge area was large and comfortable, there was lots of space and storage in the bedroom and the terrace outside was very pleasant.Inspite of the tram 19 not running, we found we could reach all the sites and museums well within an hour using bus and metro, or by walking through the park to Flaminio metro. We intend to return soon.

Very nice apartment in a beautiful area of Rome away from Centro Historico on the north side of Villa Borghese. Away from tourists and the rat race. Classy area we enjoyed immensely. Rainero was a gracious host as well.

Raniero’s property was stunning. Built in 1911, it was his family’s residence for 3 generations. Centrally located in the Financial and Embassy district, it was safe, clean and quiet. Only minutes to walk to the grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, parks, the Borghese Museum and the surrounding grounds.The apartment was large and comfortable, with all the amenities you’d expect in a short term rental. We HIGHLY recommend this property!

The place was very clean and spacious. We also liked that is was away from all the busyness from the center of Rome. It was minutes away from the Colosseum, St. Peter's Square and the other tourist hot spots. When we returned from the tourist spots, it was nice to have the quiet down time back at Raniero's place.Raniero was a great host! He was very accommodating and super gracious with requests. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the quiet location beside the park and the excellent restaurants a short walk away. Raniero was an outstanding host who, upon arrival, gave us the lay of the land and remained available for local knowledge throughout our entire stay. Palm House 1 is beautifully and comfortably furnished and decorated. We hope to stay there again! The best VRBO we’ve ever rented.

Exploring Rome

Our stay at Villa Borghese was stellar. We have travelled the world and this tranquil abode is exemplary! It is exceptionally well appointed, perfectly located, easily accessible and has everything one could need or want. Staying this close to the exquisite Borghese park was a dream. Truly the most lovely accommodations imaginable and the host is charming, available and attentive. So many thanks for a lovely Roma adventure!

Our stay in this beautiful apartment was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The space itself is elegant and tastefully curated, filled with books and art that gave it a warm, lived-in charm rather than feeling like a typical rental. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we also used the sleeper sofa which exceeded our expectations. It was just as comfortable as a reagular bed. It did not feel like a sleeper sofa bed at all. Is was just perfect. The shower was a dream (truly!), and the bathroom was very spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We honestly didn't do much cooking since the restaurants in Rome are so incredible, but it was reassuring to know the kitchen was ready for anything.One of our favorite features was the lovely patio with comfortable furniture, and a palm tree that provided nice shade. It was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the city.The intire place stayed cool even durning the hot June days. There is air conditioning, but we really did not need. Our host, Raniero, was wonderful, gracious, warm, and attentive throughout our stay. Between the elegant and calm location, the thoughtful design of the apartment, and Raniero's hospitality, this was one of those places that made it genuinely hard to leave. We'd return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

Away from the crowds and noise

It was a quiet respite from the Rome city crowds. It was expansive and the private courtyard's was idyllic.

Lovely apartment for a wonderful stay

We came for a family wedding plus a bit of sightseeing. Hal McMillan was a great host and the apartment was very large and well equipped. We had a great time.

Comfortable Apartment

Well appointed, spacious apartment with all you will need for a comfortable stay. Away from the congestion of tourists yet close enough to the main sights to walk or take a short ride. There are also excellent restaurants and a supermarket close by too.

The apartments are close to downtown but far enough from the tourists like you said. Public transportation is only a 5 minute walk and you can find a taxi at the taxi stop in Piazza Verde.

Wonderful oasis

PH1 offers the same location conveniences mentioned in my review of PH2 (yes, we stayed in both due to availability during our stay in Rome). Its king size bed, bottle of wine and water were appreciated. It's a little quieter due to its location in the building but hasn't been modernized to the same level as PH2. Raniero is a thoughtful host so you can't go wrong in either apartment.
