Cozy Cabin in the Heart of Pristine Wilderness

Our private cozy cabin is a nature enthusiast dream come true! Set deep in the valley bordering the San Juan National Forest, our secluded cabin is 17 miles outside of the quaint town of Pagosa Springs (about a 25-minute drive) and located in a river valley surrounded by beautiful Ponderosa Pines. The cabin sits on the 211+ acre Singing Pines Ranch, off Plumtaw Road with the Upper Piedra River running through the property. Beautifully furnished with a queen bed in each bedroom, a large wooden dining table, comfy sofa, a working fireplace and a spacious front porch with breathtaking views! The cabin has DSL, a charcoal grill, stainless steel fridge, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, washer/dryer, and heating forced air. The kitchen is stocked with the basic amenities such as salt/pepper, and olive oil. There is no TV or air-conditioning. If you truly want seclusion and nature this is it!!! You will have the entire property to yourself, with old historic cabins and an old barn to explore. There are many nearby trails to hike, fishing in the Piedra river (walking distance from our property or a short drive away). With all this being said, this remote location does come with some inconveniences. This cabin is in the wilderness. While we work hard to manage mountain critters, you can expect to see the occasional mouse or insects in the cabin. As the saying goes, there is no stopping Mother Nature.

The stay at this wonderful cabin was a dream come true! My sister and I wanted go get away from it all to celebrate her birthday, and this wilderness location exceeded our expectations. We spent hours on the porch reading, talking and enjoying the fresh air and solitude. The interior of the cabin was spotlessly clean, the furnishings lovely and the beds exceptionally comfortable. We booked four nights and realized it wasn't long enough. We plan to come back next summer and will plan for a week. A couple of things to note: You will need to purchase any food and necessities in town before you head to the cabin as there is nothing available there! Also, prepare yourselves to drive several miles from town on dirt and gravel roads. If you are looking for peace and quiet and wilderness, this cabin will not disappoint.

Great Cabin in a Wonderful Location

We had very enjoyable ten-day stay - relaxing at the cabin and getting out on the nearby trails. The cabin is very nicely furnished, fully equipped, clean and comfortable, with caring management. It is situated in a lovely, quiet, secluded setting in an incredibly beautiful area.

Great cabin with beautiful views.

The tree lined property is gorgeous, and the cabin is well decorated. The furniture is very comfortable. Also the bedrooms are identical, so it's an ideal place for 2 couples.

Beautiful family getaway

It was so nice to see how truly secluded this cabin was. It was just what we were looking for to get away from the Texas summer heat and traffic. The cabin was very well maintained and was a perfect size for our family of 4. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to explore Pagosa Springs but also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the area.
