Centrally located, Magnolia Cottages is a small, quiet, wooded neighborhood with deeded beach access centrally located on 30A. The neighborhood pool is just across the street, and only three minute walk from the beach, or 0.25 miles. Alys Beach and The HUB are within one mile, Rosemary Beach is two miles down the road, and Seaside is about five miles from the property. Biking and walking trails are available throughout.

Great Destin Vacation Spot

Memory lane was perfect and exactly as described. Location was quiet and being walking distance to beach was great! Hosts were excellent communicators. House was clean. We also loved being biking distance from seaside, the big chill, and rosemary! A great stay!

Spring Break ‘23

The house and area was great! It was enough room for the us adults and kids. It was great with how close it was to the pool and an easy walk to the beach! It was so nice they had everything you needed for the beach also! The neighborhood was great and quite. Would for sure recommend the property.

Great cottage!

Great location and neighborhood! The pool is seconds from the cottage and beach access is short walk or bike ride away! My 3 year old loved riding in the bike wagon that is available on the property! The property manger was easy accessible and responded quickly to any out reach! We would definitely like to stay at this property again!

Great Family House

We loved our stay here. The house has everything you need for a little kiddo. We brought our 10 month old. Jim and Jane even brought us a highchair after I asked for one before we checked in. We ended up bringing too much from home. The house even had outlet covers. Walk to beach is easy. We enjoyed the upstairs balcony too being in the sun and outside while the little napped.

Memory Lane was exactly what we hoped it’d be. Quiet, outside the main spaces on 30A, but close to everything. Hosts were proactive and clear in their communication!

Stay

Property was in a cute community. Easy walk to the beach. Unable to bring beach wagon due to many stairs at access point. Easy check in and fast responses from property owner. Went with 6 teen children bunk room was a little tight appeared bigger in pictures. They had a blast. Felt the space was not cleaned very well and bathtub in master had mold in jets of tub. Bring extra toilet paper and garbage bags. Overall stay was fun.

Blissful Stay

Memory Lane checked just about every box one could desire or require for a vacation getaway. This place was in a fantastic location, with very close beach access as well as close proximity to community pool. The space inside was tremendous with a crucial screened in porch, offering picturesque views of landscaped trees and greenery. The outdoor shed offered bikes and beach gear as well. The manager was easy to get a hold of and very responsive when needed. Indeed, Memory Lane will be visited by our crew again.

Great place!

Great place, a lot of amenities. The beach access with the code that is provided is private beach. We were told we couldn’t setup when we went down to the beach from that entrance. We had to walk a little ways down the beach to setup on the public beach. Not ideal just wish that had been disclosed as a group of our had already setup and we had to take down and reset up. No biggie after that first day.

Family vacation at Memory Lane

Happy memories indeed at Memory Lane - a perfect home away from home for our family group (1 & 4 year old, their parents, grandma and uncle). The house is comfortable, fresh and clean, well appointed with everything we needed for our stay, and decorated with a beachside vibe. Parents enjoyed the comfort and privacy of the upstairs suite. We also appreciated the crib and high chair for the baby, the bikes, wagon, beach chairs and umbrella, beach floats and sand toys- perfect! The gated community swimming pool is just steps away, and the beach is a very short walk, so our 4 year old was happily swimming 3-4 times a day. We all loved the house and hope to come again soon. Thank you J&J.

Wonderful place!

We loved this place and it was great for our family of four and our friends family of four also! My only suggestion to future renters (which is minor) is to bring more paper towels and toilet paper. Each bathroom had one roll and there was one partial roll of paper towels. We ended up only using the pool one time but it was so convenient. The cottage is in a nice area and we went for a walk a couple of the mornings. Jane was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions that we had.

We had a great stay! Highly reccomend it. Love this neighborhood. Beds could've been a bit more comfy would be only complaint and our AC went out the final night. The house itself was clean, plenty of cooking materials, and the toys, bikes, beach gear was great!

We loved the location of this house - close to the pool and easy walking distance to the beach. The house was spacious, clean and had all of the amenities you could need including a skim board, bikes and beach chairs. The property manager was awesome to deal with. Loved the screened in porch and TVs in every bedrooms. Only drawback was the master bed upstairs wasn't that comfy. The two bedrooms downstairs seemed to have better mattresses.

Exactly as pictured

Overall, we loved our stay at Memory Lane. The cottage is within a community of other cottages about 4 blocks from 30A. The community is very quiet and has easy access to the beach. It is only about 2 miles from Rosemary to the east. Seaside is only about 3 miles to the west. Of course the beach here is absolutely beautiful, but only accessible by walking down about 2 flights of stairs. The home is very well stocked in the kitchen with all of the things you might possible need if you plan on cooking. It is also supplied with 3 adult and 1 child's bike, several beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and a buggy to cart everything to the nearby beach. We spent a lot of time on the screened in back porch, eating our meals, having drinks, or playing games. The property was neat and clean with plenty of towels. For our visit, there were dishwasher pods, Tupperware, and one roll of paper towels and toilet paper. The property manager was responsive, although we didn't really have any needs during the week. I would stay here again on a visit.

Great property.

Terrific property in a great location near beach and the Hub. Pool is not heated at least while we were there. Bikes need replaced. Overall the house is awesome and we would go back.

Fantastic stay

The cottage was exactly as described. Perfect for my husband, me, our 2.5 year old son & both of the grandmothers. There were plenty of books for our son. We brought our own pack & play mattress and bedding but used the pack and play there which was so nice. We lugged our beach tent out the first day but then used the 2 umbrellas the rest of the time & it was perfect! Plenty of beach chairs too. The neighborhood was so cute. It was not a bad walk to the beach. The public beach access is better and easier boardwalk. We used the bikes and buggy one day which was fun. We were able to check in early which was wonderful. Everything was clean. We had a great time!

Great vacation

This was a great property. Ten feet from the pool, very short walk to the beach. Great furnishings. Had one, extremely minor issue that was fixed within the hour. Would definitely rent again!

Wonderful home, comfortable for a night watching a movie. Right across stone's throw from pool is clutch for kids. Only a few blocks to the beach. Overall, great experience.

Great location

We have stayed at Rosemary and Grayton Beach before, so we wanted to try something in between geographically. This was a great location easy access to anything we needed. The house fit our needs well, the screened porch was the most popular area of the house. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic!

One of the best properties we have ever stay at in Magnolia Cottages! It is well equipped, super clear, and overall a fantastic house. Every cabinet was stocked in the kitchen and the overall house had everything you needed for a beach getaway. Also, the property manager was awesome with communication and extremely nice. I am so glad we chose this house and will definitely be back!

Magnolia Cottages is quaint, close to the beach, but not is a high traffic area. Close to Rosemary Beach and near Seagrove and Seaside as well. It's just a great location, tucked in and yet near lots of restaurants and shopping.
