Great stay at a reasonable price

The property is in great shape and well maintained. The owners were regularly checking on us. The location is very accessible with many beaches within driving distance. Would recommend for families.

Our stay was tremendous. The environment was peaceful and relaxing. A great view of the sounds and the house was spacious and suited our needs to the fullest extent. The best part of it all is that we had great host.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to spend a week.The house was very clean, spacious, and had great accommodations throughout. There was plenty of room to spread out and feel at home rather than crowded into a typical vacation rental. The host was also extremely easy to communicate with, which made everything from arrival through the rest of our stay simple and stress-free.One of our favorite things was the location. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the main drag and bay, giving you a quiet place to come back to after a busy day. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the decks and relaxing in the peaceful surroundings.At the same time, you're still conveniently located near several great attractions and restaurants, so there are plenty of things to see, do, and eat without having to travel far.The house does not have a pool or direct beach access, which is something to keep in mind if those are priorities. For us, it wasn't an issue and the quiet setting more than made up for it.Overall, this was a clean, comfortable, spacious, and relaxing home base for our trip. We would absolutely recommend it, especially for a week-long stay, and would gladly stay here again!

Lovely home, comfy stay

We were lucky to have this new property for our Outer Banks stay. We were two family groups, and one generation had the downstairs unit and the other the upstairs. Great open living area and spacious rooms. We used it as a base for surfing and exploring the area. The hosts were great at sorting out our queries. Highly recommended.

The trip would have been better with more checks and balances by the host. 1) There was no propane in the grill. This should have been checked before we checked in. The host did fix once we notified her.2) There were some key small kitchen appliances that were not there such as an air fryer and griddle. 3) The beach chairs were in damaged condition. A couple of them were broke.4) With the number of guests in reservation, we should have been provided more towels.5) It would have been nice to have had facial tissues provided; this is something we have had at all of our other VRBO stays. I would have brought some if I had known they wouldn't provided them.6) We never found the remote control for fan in living room; the location the host told us did not have it located there.7) Host did respond when we inquired on issues.8) The actual house was very new and nice.
