Vous recherchez une expérience unique? Si oui, vous l'avez trouvé à la chapelle de Linekin Bay. La chapelle a été convertie en une maison de 2 chambres et possÚde les vitraux et le clocher d'origine. Il dispose d'un grand salon ouvert avec les planchers de bois franc d'origine et une véranda.

DĂ©tendez-vous sur le pont arriĂšre avec un verre et un barbecue ou partez en randonnĂ©e sur la frontiĂšre Linekin Preserve qui offre plus de 100 acres de sentiers de randonnĂ©e, y compris la façade panoramique sur l'ocĂ©an. Également pour la randonnĂ©e, le Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) propose plus de 30 miles de sentiers cĂŽtiers et boisĂ©s ouverts toute l'annĂ©e et gratuits pour le public. Une courte promenade vous amĂšne Ă  la façade audacieuse de l'ocĂ©an ouvert sur le sentier King Phillips oĂč il y a des levers de soleil spectaculaires. Moins de 5 minutes en voiture vous amĂšne Ă  Ocean Point oĂč vous pouvez regarder un coucher de soleil Ă  couper le souffle (n'oubliez pas votre appareil photo).

Le centre-ville de Boothbay Harbor est à 4, 5 miles et offre de nombreux magasins, galeries, restaurants et une vie nocturne animée. Des croisiÚres en mer sont disponibles ici pour des pùtisseries de homard / palourdes, ainsi que des excursions d'observation des baleines et des phoques. Le Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (le plus grand de la Nouvelle-Angleterre) est à moins de 10 minutes de la chapelle et offre plus de 250 acres de sentiers riverains et boisés; il comprend également des jardins sensoriels, des cascades impressionnantes, des pierres et un excellent café.

La chapelle a une grande terrasse enveloppante avec des meubles de patio et un gril à gaz. Il y a aussi une grande véranda qui est un endroit idéal pour le café du matin. Il a une cuisine bien équipée avec certaines des armoires en bois d'origine. Nous avons maintenant ajouté un lave-vaisselle pour votre commodité. Nous avons également maintenant un climatiseur ainsi qu'une laveuse et sécheuse avec des rénovations récentes.

N'hésitez pas à utiliser nos vélos gratuits pour explorer la région ou louer un scooter en ville. Il y a aussi une rampe publique pour bateaux à proximité. Il y a aussi un lac à proximité, alors n'hésitez pas à utiliser nos canots et nos gilets de sauvetage.

La chapelle, également connue sous le nom d '«église rose et violette», a été construite en 1911 et était une chapelle d'été méthodiste. Il a ensuite été converti en résidence privée et en galerie d'art et est connu pour son jeu de couleurs fantaisiste.

The property is not only beautiful but equipped with everything you could possibly need to ensure a wonderful experience. The hosts are exceptionally generous, accessible, and accommodating. The Perfect Place!

If you have the chance to book this property, do it! So beautiful-the owners have put a lot of work and thought into the details. The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. A fully equipped kitchen allowed us to make many meals in-house. The property is perfectly situated between Boston and Acadia and made a perfect landing spot for our many adventures in and around the area. Maine is an absolutely gorgeous state and this charming rental helped this vacation land at the top of our list as an all time favorite trip. Great communication from our hosts. Comfortable, clean and did I mention absolutely beautiful? What could be better than waking up to the sun coming in through stained glass windows?If our travels ever take us back to Maine, we would absolutely book here again. Ten stars!

The chapel was absolutely perfect for our family (kids ages 3-5). It was very clean, tons of room, fully stocked and a great location. A unique stay for the kids and the hosts were very responsive and friendly. 10/10 recommend.

Another Perfect Stay!

We stayed at the Linekin Chapel in the fall of 2022. We couldn’t wait to come back! This time we stayed for two glorious weeks and the experience was just as perfect as the last time. The chapel is beautiful and so well maintained. It’s a perfect size for us and our two adult daughters. Centrally located, with so much to do in the area. We had deer that appeared several evenings too. Everything we could have needed was provided, such as towels, extra bedsheets, a big kitchen, washer/dryer, lots of games too! Just go up the road to Hannaford to supply the kitchen with everything you need to make homemade meals. We can’t wait to return!

The property is incredibly unique and in a great location with lots of hiking trails. The hosts are the best we have ever had. We have been back several times; can't recommend enough.

Wonderful Place

Fantastic Stay

The chaple was FANTASTIC!!! Very clean and well set up for families to be there. It was in a great local. We were able to go to the coast each night to look for sea glass and watch the sunset. We will definately return for another vacation.

Amazing Getaway to Make Cherished Memories

We love the pink and purple church! It’s an amazing place to stay and enjoy as you’re home away from home. The littlest details are all taken care of for you and you will immediately feel how special this place is. Kristin and Jason are wonderful hosts and will make you feel so welcome! It’s comfortable, very well stocked, beautiful and a great place to stay in one of the prettiest communities in Maine. We have made such special memories at this location. It’s so spacious, beautifully decorated and has all the comforts you could want. Book it! You won’t be disappointed! We look forward to returning to this amazing getaway each year!

Staying at the Purple Chapel

This is a very comfortable, quirky, beautiful, very well stocked home. We loved the way the sunlight breaks through the stained glass windows and its mellowness. Ocean Point near fails to please and staying at the Chapel was a wonderful (wonder filled?!) bonus.

Perfect Getaway

The Chapel was a wonderful and very unique experience. With just the right blend of modern comfort but keeping the historic touches. The original stained glass windows are amazing when lit up by the morning sun. Great location that was private but close enough to enjoy all the things Boothbay Harbor has to offer.Very comfortable beds and quality linens. First time visiting Maine

Search no further! Pick this place for your stay! It is beautiful and in a great location. The Chapel is clean, has everything you need in a kitchen. There's also a grill. Lots of games and puzzles. The area has lots of things to do. Great places to eat. Jason and Kristin are great host. The Webbs South Central PA

A Unique Experience

We stayed in a lovely church that is no longer a church but a interesting and comforting "home." for those who are visiting Booth Bay Harbor in Maine. Our hosts were generous with extra towels, linens and soaps.

Another wonderful trip to the Boothbay

This is our second year staying in the chapel. We had a wonderful time again and hope to return next year! It is such a beautiful and unique property!

Love The Pink and Purple Chapel!

We stayed at the chapel for our twentieth anniversary. Of all the places we’ve stayed in Maine, the Pink and Purple chapel is our favorite! The attention to detail is beyond anything we expected. All you need to do is bringing clothing, a few toiletries, buy food and you are set! The kitchen is more than well stocked with everything we needed. The washer and dryer came in handy, as did the dishwasher. The bathroom sparkled, and the living and dining areas are huge. The entire home is spotless. There is plenty of parking and the chapel’s location is perfect. It’s a nice drive to Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, Bath and Brunswick if you want to explore. The chapel is so beautiful. The stained glass is everywhere, so prepare to take a lot of pictures. We spent a lot of the day out exploring Maine and when we returned it felt like coming home. Kristin and Jason were so welcoming. They kept us updated before we arrived, and left a nice card for us, a lovely (huge) fruit and cheese tray, and other lovely additions to help us celebrate our anniversary. We were so sad to leave! One week was not enough time. We will be returning to the chapel as soon as we can! Sandi and Jon San Diego, CA

Beautiful stay in Booth Bay

This is by far our favorite property that we have stayed in while visiting Maine and we have vacationed up and down the coast and the chapel is homey, comfortable and inviting. They provide you with EVERYTHING you may need. Thououghly enjoyed our stay👍
