Lake Front on Little Clear Lake- Comfort Resort

Enjoy your stay at the original vacation rental on a private spring fed lake. This home was the first built cottage on the lake and was named Comfort Resort and has been a wonderful vacation spot for a very long time. This is the perfect spot for swimming and fishing. Included in the rental you can use the rowboat with ores, 2 Paddle boards, and one paddle boat. The cottage is roomy, and you will enjoy the spacious yard, or sitting on the porch

30 min from Tawas
10 min from several Canoe Rentals for Rifle River

Wonderful stay at this darling cottage, we had everything we needed and it was very clean. Beds were very comfortable and warm bedrooms. Every once in a while there would be a smell by the back door but would come and go. Thank you for everything!

Everybody had a great time here. The fishing was great, the neighbors were super nice, and the listing is very accurate. Great communication with the owner!

The best part was the window wall looking out on the lake. Teen grands were in the lake all the time and never missed their electronics. Thank you for an awesome stay and great communication.

Father's Day Weekend

Had a great time @ this clean cozy cottage, on a very peaceful lake. Enjoyed fishing, paddle boat gazebo with inside fire pit with comfortable seating. Communicating with Tina was a breeze. Cottage was well stocked. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Serenity

100 Stars if we could give. It was so peaceful. Immaculately clean. Air conditioned, fully stocked with all supplies you need from kitchen to bathroom to outside activies. Enough room for 5 adults plus our pups. Great fishing . Peaceful and quiet area. Easy to get to tawas for the day to explore. Absolutely would stay agin.

Really enjoyed our stay. Surprised at how quiet it was for being on a lake. Plenty of outdoor seating and even had fishing gear. Plan on going back next year.

Great family spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The lake was beautiful and calm. There were lots of water activities for the kids to do. It's also very close to Riffle River, which was a nice day outing. Tina was very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend this rental.

One night was not enough!

I wish I more than one day to enjoy everything this cottage has to offer. One night was not enough! Lovely cottage home with spectacular view of the lake from the large living room windows. The paddle boat was easy to launch and the lake in the early evening was smooth and quiet. Beautiful.

Perfect Getaway - Would Stay Here Again!

We were in need of a place to stay for a Little League tournament in West Branch and had only a couple weeks to make arrangements. This could not have been a more perfect place. The host was incredibly responsive and kind. The kids were thrilled with the paddle boards, fishing rods, etc. It was the perfect place to disconnect for a few days - but I appreciated that the WiFi was strong enough I could work remotely from the cottage. If you're looking for a quiet, private getaway at a place stocked with everything you need, this is it.

Not worth the price

We did not enjoy our stay at the cottage, the house had a pungent smell and the back room ceiling leaked. Overall, it was not a good experience and we left after the first night of our stay. I do not recommend this property.

Great Vacation Rental

We have used VRBO for over 15 years. This beautiful rental just may be the best one of all. First of all the house was very clean up on arrival. I admit I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness. Mr. Clean would have been impressed. Thank you housekeeping.We are a family of six. There was more than enough seating in the living room, kitchen table, gazebo and all around the property to comfortably seat our family.The kitchen and bathroom are well supplied with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. I have never had a rental that provides you with all the essentials that this rental has. I was very impressed .The location is quiet and relaxing. Neighbors are friendly and polite. There is a nice sandy beach area for kids to play but the water was a little too weedy for our grandson. But that is no biggie. Tawas Beach is only 30 minutes away. We spent the day at the beach and stayed in town for dinner.Overall we had a wonderful vacation. Looking forward to next year. Thank you Tina.

Fantastic!

We had a great time here! My parents, two teenagers, hubs, doggo and me stayed for six nights. The row boat, paddle boat, and both paddle boards were used regularly. We had a couple of fires and took walks down both sections of road. We were a bit anxious about only having one shower for six people, but it was a non issue. It was great for the kids to have a toilet upstairs and since they’re teens, they liked having separate sleeping quarters, too. The kids said the paddle boards were the best! We also caught a ton of fish, including a 14” pike! Tina, the host, was in constant contact with Consumers Energy after the windstorm knocked out the power. We went for a drive along the Lake Huron lakeshore, and it was restored before our return. We will definitely return. Thanks for a great stay, Tina!
