Welcome to the peaceful valley of Downtown Charlevoix! This beautiful lower level duplex is only 3 blocks to Lake Michigan and in the heart of Charlevoix’s downtown valley, with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath, sleeping up to 6 guests. It’s open floor plan make it great for a family or a spacious getaway for a couple. -Need more room? book the upper unit, also, for your larger group! This home is in a fantastic location…removed from the bustle of town but close to everything!- in a peaceful, beautiful neighborhood. This space has parking for two vehicles in its own driveway and a separate, private entrance.

It has been very well maintained, with comfortable furnishings and all the amenities needed for your stay: a fully stocked kitchen, an open-concept interior, a front deck, wi-fi/cable, A/C, and laundry facilities. You can relax and enjoy the up north atmosphere, just minutes from all Charlevoix has to offer.

The space:
This home is newly furnished, with hardwood floors, an open floor plan, and design touches to enhance your vacation experience.
The spacious kitchen offers many amenities and a variety of seating, with dining at the table and seating for 4 at the kitchen bar.
The kitchen includes a microwave, gas range/stovetop, range hood, coffee maker, toaster, blender, plenty of kitchen/baking ware, cooking utensils, etc. -Mornings at Downtown Charlevoix Charmer have so many options!-Take your coffee to go on a morning beach walk as you hunt for Petoskey stones…just 2 blocks away! Or -savor it outside on the front deck and listen to the neighborhood wake up. ...another option? - Walk 3 blocks to one of town's great coffee places, and stroll along the marina or catch an art show in the park.

Cook your meal, graze from the bar, or grill outside! Take advantage of beautiful nights in Charlevoix, and listen to the sounds of Lake Michigan from the front deck. Is it a beach day?-Grab the provided kids' beach toys, towels, and camp chairs and walk just 2 blocks to one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on Lake Michigan! Grab a bucket and pick Petoskey stones just down the street.
-Staying inside for the night? Grab one of our books to read; or, check out our games and gather up at the table, or spend a night playing cards while watching tv. - Everybody in your group can engage with each other with a fantastic open floor plan.

Right off the kitchen you will find a spacious living room. Cozy up and watch a movie or tv (cable tv stations provided) with a new Smart TV. Be sure to check out the entertainment cabinet for plenty of games, puzzles, cards, and books to explore!

Everyone in your group will sleep great with quality bedding & mattresses. Sleeps up to 6 people with two bedrooms:

This house is fully equipped with everything you would need from linens, towels, and a starter pack of consumables.
Additional amenities include a washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, charcoal grill, cable tv, wi-fi, a front deck, outdoor chairs, and a 2 car driveway with additional parking on the street.

PARKING: Driveway (2 vehicles), plus street parking
-Please note the garage is only utilized for storage and parking inside is restricted.

-Events in the park, Bridge St. boutique shops, downtown marina, Oleson's Supermarket, movie theater, farmer's market, mushroom houses, splash pad, music concerts, local beaches, the drawbridge-Michigan beach lighthouse, channel, downtown bars & restaurants!
TIP!: (We can help you with FREE bike rentals, if interested in riding bikes around during your stay).

CENTRALLY LOCATED in Northern Michigan -A home base to explore:
On the south side of the bridge in town, the cottage is only a short drive to many of Northern Michigan's fantastic small towns, lakes, festivals, golf courses, art shows, breweries/wineries, and outdoor recreation areas! Charlevoix has many wonderful restaurants, retail stores, as well as a three-screen movie theater and grocery shopping center all within walking distance! Stroll the city streets and enjoy the views of Lake Charlevoix, Round Lake, and Lake Michigan. Have children with you? - Take advantage of the downtown splash pad and watch boats in the harbor. Other options? -sign them up for an arts class at the Circle of Arts (2 blocks), or walk 1 block to one of the best children's library areas in Michigan!

Ferry Beach, Lake Charlevoix access boat ramp, golf courses, Ironton Ferry

Break away from the hustle and bustle of the ski hills and stay in downtown Charlevoix!
In addition to its own little ski hill-Mt. McSauba- (GREAT downhill skiing for kids! - snowshoeing & candlelight hikes, too), this cottage is just a half hour drive to most SKI RESORTS- Knubs Knob, BOYNE properties, Shanty Creek, Schuss Mountain.
Relax in Charlevoix and slow down the pace after a day outside!
Enjoy our wintertime festivals (see Charlevoix Chamber of Commerce website), downtown boutique shops, restaurants, local candlelight hikes at Mt. McSauba, breweries/wineries, and cross country skiing-snowshoeing-hiking at Fisherman's Island State Park, just a few minutes away!
