This gorgeous, luxurious, contemporary A-frame cabin spans 1300 sq ft, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a cozy set of bunk beds designed with the little ones in mind. The A-frame charm extends to a private deck, hot tub, indoor fireplace for chilly nights, and an outdoor fire pit with seating, providing a perfect retreat all year round.

Situated just 3 miles from Downtown Pepin and a short drive from Maiden Rock, Stockholm, Wabasha, Lake City, and Red Wing, MN, our property serves as a gateway to the wonders along the Great River Road. Perfect place to unwind against the backdrop of the Chippewa River Valley.

We had a wonderful stay at this secluded cottage. The views were absolutely beautiful, and we loved seeing so much wildlife during our visit. After our daughter’s wedding, relaxing in the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind.The cottage was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was an excellent communicator, making everything easy from booking through check-out.It was such a peaceful, relaxing place for our family to gather and spend quality time together. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

This lovely location was a dream for a nice getaway. Great hikes nearby, balk eagle sightings everywhere, and loved the cozy decor and ambiance. I hope to come back in the summer with the kids to enjoy the bunks.

What a beautiful place to stay! The home is clean and very well taken care of. They had everything there that you could think of and more. The hosts were very timely on their responses and with all instructions for entry, etc. Highly recommend!!

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our mini honeymoon after our wedding! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and luxurious, with the perfect vintage charm that made it feel so special. The view was probably the best part—it was absolutely breathtaking and made the entire stay feel even more peaceful and memorable. The hot tub was amazing, and spending the evenings outside under the stars, even catching a few shooting stars, was something we’ll always remember. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy those first few days as newlyweds.What made our stay even more special, though, was how wonderful and accommodating the host was. Unfortunately, we accidentally left our wedding cake and cake topper in the refrigerator when we checked out. We live four hours away, and I was so upset when I realized. I reached out to the host hours later, and they responded immediately. Although the cake had already been thrown away, the host went above and beyond to arrange for the cleaner to retrieve our wedding cake topper from the trash so it could be saved and mailed back to us. I cannot express how much that meant to me. Our wedding topper is something we wanted to keep as a memory of such an important day, and the host’s thoughtfulness and effort gave me so much relief.Between the breathtaking view, beautiful cabin, peaceful surroundings, incredible hot tub, and a host who genuinely cares about their guests, this stay exceeded our expectations!!!!

Definitely worth the money. Everything was extremely clean and the location is perfect for a relaxing stay. Even the fire pit was pre-built and plenty of wood to keep it going. Never been to another place where we didn’t have to bring in our own wood. Loved the little fireplace, beds were comfortable, and plenty of coffee also supplied. We used the grill one night and the hot tub looked really nice but we forgot shorts so we didn’t actually use it. Fantastic view. The check-in couldn’t be easier and all interactions with the host were outstanding. Very accommodating. We’ll be back with family next time to spend more time in the area.

Our names are Chris and Anna. We met a long time ago over a bottle of champagne (actually over two bottles of champagne but who is counting). Chris was the waiter and Anna was the customer at a St Croix Valley, MN restaurant on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

We have come together from different backgrounds, mentalities, and cultures but there are many things that we enjoy together – traveling, hosting, making something our own, design and living and sharing spaces and time with our friends and family.
