Belle maison au bord du lac avec ponton sur S. Lac Manistique

Le Cedarview est une très belle maison de 3 chambres et 3 1/2 salles de bain située sur la rive est du lac South Manistique. Les locations d'été comprennent un bateau ponton de 20 pieds avec un moteur à quatre temps de 60 ch. Si tout se passe comme prévu, il devrait y avoir un nouveau ponton 2018 au printemps. J'aurai des photos dès qu'elles seront disponibles. Il y a aussi un canot et un pédalo disponibles pour votre usage. Central Air a été ajoutée au printemps 2018.
La maison est très bien aménagée pour les familles à partager, chacune des 3 chambres a sa propre salle de bain privée avec bain à remous dans la salle de bain principale. Le premier étage a une cuisine entièrement meublée, une grande salle à manger / salon / grande pièce avec un foyer au gaz, une buanderie avec une demi-salle de bain et une chambre avec un lit queen et salle de bain privée. À l'étage possède la chambre principale avec lit queen et TV satellite, également un coin salon en mezzanine donnant sur la grande salle. La deuxième chambre à l'étage a un lit queen et un lit superposé double / complet complété par un lecteur TV / DVD pour les jeux et regarder des films mais ne reçoit pas de satellite.
Vous pouvez vous détendre sur le grand porche avant, vous baigner dans le lac où l'eau est peu profonde et le fond est sablonneux, essayez-vous à la grande pêche à trouver ou naviguez sur le ponton. Si vous êtes en plein jour, de nombreux sites merveilleux vous attendent dans toutes les directions.

Beautiful home, the kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots, pans and crockpots. It was perfect for our family, each family had their own space including a bathroom. The pontoon boat was amazing.

We had a great stay !! the house is beautiful with plenty of room and also very warm n cozy ! And in a great location being right on the lake. We’ll definitely keep this place in mind for a summer trip !!!

We stayed for a week with our adult children and their families. There was plenty to do for everyone. Having the kayaks and pontoon, etc…was great. Fishing was good and the boat was perfect for sunset trips. The home is centrally located, an easy trip to mackinac, lake superior, benny the troll, pictured rocks, etc… kitchen truly does have almost everything needed. We’ve stayed in several vacation rentals over the past 30 years and this was one of the best. Weather was beautiful and overall this rental is worth the cost

We absolutely loved our stay at Cedarview! There were 4 adults and having ensuite bathrooms in all of the bedrooms (plus the first floor half bath) worked out great. We appreciated being able to use the boat, which was clean and well running. Kevin was easy to communicate with prior to our stay, and was available by phone when my husband had a question about the boat. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. We also appreciated that there was firewood available for a donation. The location was good too...close to town but off of the main road, so we could safely do a bit of walking. We are hopeful that we can return next year! The one small thing that would have made it better for me personally was a king-size bed, just because that's what we're used to! :)

We had 6 adults and the house and location was perfect. Beautiful sunsets! The pontoon boat was beautiful. Kevin was very easy to work with. Will definitely stay here again.

This property was perfect for our needs. We went out of our way because it included the use of a pontoon, something we enjoyed doing for years. Too bad the weather wasn’t better. It was cloudy and rainy during our whole stay. We did get a chance to ride on the pontoon. We had a question for Kevin, and he was quick to call to return our call.We spent a good bit of time under the covered deck. Within 15 minutes of arriving we were thrilled to spot an eagle in a tree on the property next door. The view of the lake was nice. The cloudy skies did prevent us from seeing what could have been beautiful sunsets.The place was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this home.

Best cottage ever

Great location close to Curtis and other UP locations. Very comfortable and well laid out to accommodate our family of 9. Lake was a hit with the kids. Privacy and lots of wildlife viewing. Beautiful place with wonderful upgrades.

Nice cabin, expensive, challenging boat lift, lots of fishing-little catching, eagles on the lake...a long drive to any UP attractions. Nice cabin but over priced.

Beautiful paradise

What a lovely cottage on a beautiful lake. It was more than what we expected. To the cottage, quiet neighborhood, the lake(swimming/fishing) and the pontoon boat. It was perfect for us. We will definitely be back.

THE 19TH ANNUAL SMITH FISHING TRIP

Had an excellent vacation 12-19 Sep 2020 on S. Manistique Lake in Curtis/Gould City, MI. Kevin and Tammy Vajen have a beautiful home on the lake. We enjoyed the accommodations provided, enjoyed the pontoon listening to music and catching fish , played cards, traveled to both downtown areas, and had many laughs. Great retreat from the city and work! Looking forward to the 20TH ANNUAL SMITH FISHING TRIP in 2021!!

Beautiful, Clean, and Comfortable

My wife and I just finished a 5-day stay with our adult children. What a gorgeous place! Everything we had hoped for. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. Great open-concept kitchen/dining/living area with beautiful lake views. Comfy beds and private bath in each of the 3 bedrooms. Really nice laundry room. The weather even cooperated and nature provided some stunning sunsets. Perfectly situated to visit Tahquemenon, Pictured Rocks, and the Seney Wildlife Refuge. Communication with Kevin was excellent. Will definitely stay again.

Love, love, love the place! Kevin was super accommodating. House was perfect. The big back patio was the best for the little bit of rain we had. The pontoon was a great. We love deep water swimming. Lake was not busy even for 4th of July week. Family caught a ton of fish, even had a fish dinner one of the nights. Beach was sandy, lots of water things to do. House is well stocked with kitchen utensils and spices. Even sugar, flour stuff like that. The Kuerig broke and Kevin bought one in town for us to pick up. Town of Curtis is the best. Cute shops, ice cream, pizza, drinks, and bait what more do you need. A hidden gem for sure!

May 2022 getaway

Since we had stayed here before, we new what to expect and we weren’t disappointed. Everything was clean and very comfortable and we caught fish when the wind wasn’t blowing to hard. There were baby robins that had hatched a few days before we got there and they were fun to watch getting fed by mom and dad. The pontoon boat was a great way for all of us to see the lake and it ran perfectly. We would definitely stay here again.

South Manistique Lake MI

It is next to impossible to find a better place to stay in the area. The house and grounds are very accommodating for families of all ages. There are plenty of beds and baths, a well stocked kitchen, and spacious living areas. The lake has a great bottom for swimming at the beachfront. The pontoon provides lake cruising and fishing. We have stayed here a few times and I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Everything was perfect upon arrival. Nicely decorated giving a warm and welcoming feeling while there. Beautiful view looking out over the lake. It’s definitely a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the time with family. Kevin is GREAT to work with and is quick to answer questions and help out in any way he can. A great UP lake getaway

The house was perfect for a cozy retreat away. The dock was not out for our early April stay yet but in the summer with the dock and pontoon it would be an amazing waterfront vacation. Lake is shallow and sandy which is perfect for splashing around and cooling off. The small town of Curtis is close and had all the essential and trails for riding are close as well. Kevin was a great communicator and a dream to work with. 100% recommend this home for an anytime of year get away!

Winter Vacation

We have enjoyed staying at the Cedarview a number of times with our family. The accommodations serve us well. The house is always clean and inviting. The owner is easy to work with and responds quickly to questions. We hope we can go back again someday.

UP Fall Vacation

Beautiful home and decor with a wonderful view of the lake. Bedrooms upstairs are nicely decorated also. Large parking area which made it much easier to trailer in our off road side by side. Very nice pontoon for fishing or spending time on the lake. Stopped at Chet & Pat's Ice Cream in Curtis for very tasty soup and dessert. Moose du Nord in McMillan has great pizza, ice cream and coffee. Helmer House Inn in McMillan is a small restaurant selling baked goods and serving meals until 3 pm. Nice winery nearby at Germfask called End of the Road Winery. Enjoyed the nice relaxing time and fall colors.
