Good Stay. Rooms were spacious and property was in condition advertised. Kids loved the pool. Vrbo was responsive for requests for small items.

Perfect Florida Stay

Beautiful place, very clean and the owner responds quick. Very close to Miami and a beach, plus the pool was spotless. 10/10 would stay again!

Home is full of mold

Let me start by saying I don’t normally leave poor reviews as a small business myself. However I feel I must in this case as this is a huge hazard for people staying in this property. The minute I walked into the home I was overwhelmed by the smell of mold. I walked around the see if I could pin point the source. However in each room it was obvious it was there. The floors also had soft spots meaning there had been water damages at one point and there was mold under the flooring. Perhaps in the walls and ceilings as well. I know this as I was a former house inspector for 15 years and know the clear signs of mold even if it’s not visible you could easily smell it. This is a huge health hazard and needs to be fixed. Also I arrived at the check in time of 4pm and found the cleaning crew was still there. I sent the owner a message and he assured me they would gone momentarily. However they stayed there until well over an hour past my checkin time. Finally the home is in a sketchy area with homeless people right outside and it didn’t feel very safe at all.

Deceiving Listing

My family of 6 adults and 6 children, ages 1-9 stayed here for 3 nights. We were so excited to get together and spend some quality time with our Florida family (we are from NJ). We did not receive the address until the night before and now I understand why. The owner did not want us to Google the surroundings of the property. The pictures are very deceiving. The house has a lot of potential with a beautiful backyard, but aside from that I am at a total disappointment for the house itself. The floors were so sticky & dirty and uplifting (needs to be fixed). The appliances were old and rusty. The neighborhood itself is in the middle of the ghetto with a nightly club right across the street that blasts music all hours of the night and homeless people walking by all types of hours. During our stay, our master bedroom did not produce any cold water, batteries were missing from remotes, the refrigerator did not have ice or water, we cleaned ourselves up on arrival just so the our kids could take off their socks. I will say that the owner tried his best to address all of our concerns, it just overall was not worth the money and will not be staying at this property in the future. I was thankful the owner sent the cleaning lady back and a maintenance worker but, it caused major disruption and we shouldn't of had to deal with any of these issues in the first place. Max really tried & that's the only reason we stayed, that & I knew a refund would not happen.
