This place was absolutely the best. The cottage was decorated very well. Love that it was on a horse farm and you were able to pet the horses and feed them peppermints Perfect location to the Horse Park. The hospitality was spot on. Loved Duffy (owners dog). What an awesome place to stay!! The cottage was perfect, clean, stocked with anything you may need and the owners are greatBeing able to stay and visit a few horses right outside the door is great!

I can't say enough good things about The Lodge at Cloud 9 Horse Farm. We had a wonderful stay from the moment we checked in. Whitney was there to give us the key and a tour of the place. She was very welcoming and made it a point to let us know we can walk around the property and visit the horses, and feed them some peppermints. So close to downtown Lexington which was great! We will miss the horses and will be back again for another stay some day.

Our stay was by far the best in our experience. The cottage was very well furnished and excellently decorated. The outside was just what we wanted, with horses and barns. The whole place made us feel at home. We will stay there again as we travel that way. Thank you Whitney for letting us stay there. WE enjoyeds our talks with you and your mom. Gus and Rita.

Our visit to this lovely property could not have been better! We loved every bit of it! The horses, Duffy the dog, Tater Tot the kitty, Whitney, Jean, the barn, the views, and so much more made us feel very fortunate to have found this special place. Whitney and her mother were so welcoming and kind. The little house we stayed in was extremely cozy and had everything we needed for a wonderful visit to Lexington and all that it had to offer. We hope to return someday soon. Many thanks to our new two and four-footed friends for helping us to make many treasured memories.

Great location for getting to all the main attractions. Very clean and comfortable. Loved being around the horses and feeding them peppermints. Pet friendly and our little rescue dog got to meet his first horse friend on this trip. We would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend. The cottage is perfectly situated for UK (we came down for our daughter's graduation) as well as Keeneland and other Lexington attractions. It's quiet and very restful. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning sunshine and strolling around the property to see the horses. The cottage is cosy and beautifully decorated and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again if we are in the area.

I had an amazing stay at this lovely cottage in Lexington. The location is perfect — close to everything, but still peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was spotless and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host met me when I arrived and was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the stay feel even more comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Cozy Friendly Guest house

Beautiful working horse farm is a lovely, convenient place to stay. With hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable hosts we had a wonderful visit in Lexington. We would definitely plan to stay there again and keep a pocket full of peppermint for the horses.

Beautiful property and a wonderful cabin! So calm and peaceful and a great place to relax after a busy day. Everyone was so nice and it was wonderful to just step out the door and be able to pet the horses on the property. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and am definitely planning on going there again!
