Had a small issue with bugs(spider & local roaches) but overall the house was delightful!!!

Overall it was a great property. The pool is small, almost more like an oversized hot tub. There was an issue with one of the sinks draining properly, but one of the guys in our group had tools and fixed it. The master bathroom door slides shut when you want it open. The only thing that was really unfortunate was that several of us encountered cockroaches in various parts of the property. Kitchen and bedrooms included. But the view is hard to beat and it was overall a good experience.

Another fantastic leadership retreat on 30A

We love this property for team meetings - it offers ample space to house everyone and host intimate team gatherings. The location on the beach can't be beat!!

Family vacation at the Marlin house

Marlin House was terrific. Property Manager was prompt with answers to questions. cleanliness was great. appliances, bedrooms, living area was as advertised.We could have used some hangars.We will have good memories of this trip for a long time.

The property is impressive and when you look at the large windows onto the beach and water, you will fall in love. The house is spacious with many rooms spread over several floors. The master suite is huge and like a resort all on its own. The pool is a bit smaller than it seems in photos, but makes for a great spot to dunk and beat the heat. The courtyard between the main house and the carriage house makes a great gathering place and the numerous balconies and porches gave us plenty of outdoor spots to sit and enjoy the weather. The kitchen is roomy and features plenty of options for a group that likes to cook. You're just steps down to the beach and the location is fantastic. The area is quiet and perfect for relaxing or fun

Construction/Construction

Check in was a breeze other than a access door that would not open or close properly. Pool was not warm upon arrival as promised but took the first night stay to warm up. Texted the property management first evening regarding the pool not being warm and did not receive a response.. Carriage house was great and the kitchen was well stocked. Ice maker on the first floor was dirty and not in operating order. Dead roaches were present in a few areas including the game room reach in refrigerator. Large first and third floor doors facing the beach inoperable and was told by maintenance that the owner did not want them fully open. Once again not communicated ahead of time to us. Construction was taking place next door for 4 of the days beginning at 7:30am. Very loud banging and cutting about 15 feet from the main living areas. Would not have booked if this was communicated to us.

We are SO sad to see this review. This is the first new guest to stay at Marlin, under our new management, and after doing quite a bit of renovations. The owners just had everything top to bottom re painted, all floors refinished, all new bedding and throw pillows throughout installed and were excited for a new year with new guests! Any hiccups will be rectified immediately. As a managemt company, we assumed incorrectly, the deck being replaced at the condo next door would not have been under construction during the Thanksgiving holiday. We try and notify guests of these possible disturbances in advance, however 30A currently has construction everywhere which can make this a difficult task at times. This specific construction should not be a problem after February. We apologize for having to deal with that during your stay. We are excited to have a wonderful 2025 season and would love to have you back!

A very beautiful with lots of space to spread out. We are a family of 16 and we still didn’t occupy all of the spaces. The kitchen is well stocked and the view breathtaking. We definitely look forward to a return trip.
