Welcome to our charming rental, The Westchester Cottage!

Nestled within a mile of the heart of Mount Dora this beautiful retreat offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining room, living room, a dedicated work area and a beautiful covered wrap around porch with scenic lake views. It's the perfect home away from home for an exciting & restful trip!

Explore the charm of the area by taking a leisurely stroll through historic Downtown Mount Dora! With an upbeat atmosphere and small town, friendly vibe, Mount Dora is the place to be. Well known for the wonderful food scene, events of all sorts, and great shopping is what attracts many travelers and local residents. All locally owned businesses is what makes the downtown Mount Dora area so much more special & unique.

Our vacation rental is equipped with modern conveniences to ensure a comfortable stay. Enjoy access to a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a coffee bar, cooking utensils & the spices, perfect for whipping up delicious meals. We also have a grill for those wanting to BBQ! Stay entertained with Xfinity cable with over 100 channels. For added convenience and protection, we provide Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, parking for up to 4 vehicles, and an ADT system for extra security.

You'll be just a short 3 min drive to where you'll find fine restaurants, shops, boating rentals & more. Don't want to drive to town? City of Mount Dora provides Freebie, an on demand shuttle that will make it easier to get to and back from town from your rental! You'll also be just a quick drive to grocery stores, walking trails & the Renninger's Antique Center! Located 45 min away from Orlando International Airport, you'll be far enough from the hustle and bustle of Orlando, but close enough to drive out for a day trip to enjoy the many wonderful attractions Orlando has to offer.

Great stay! House had everything we could need, plus more. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the view of the lake from the screen porch and close proximity to everything!

Great view and location

For a long weekend getaway, this house was perfect. Very clean and spacious and a screened in patio with a view of the lake. Gabi our host was in constant communication making sure our time was seamless. Will recommend to our friends and to all!

This was the perfect getaway vacation that my family and I needed. The house was very clean, organized, and cozy. There were so many useful tools around the house that we were able to use during our stay. The best part was the view we had sitting in the screened porch with the beautiful tree and lake view. Gabi was very attentive during our stay and really helped with all the questions we had. Thank you Gabi for everything! If we ever come back to Mount Dora, we will definitely come back here!

Mount Dora Lake Retreat

Great location. Great property size. Well appointed home. Very generous with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Didn't have to go shopping for anything. Very comfortable. They owners tried really hard to anticipate our every need. It showed. I highly recommend this host and this property.

Beautiful Mountain View....in Florida?

Side note...I don't ever take the time to leave reviews but, I felt this experience warranted some time to give credit to a great property and a wonderful experience. My family and I were more than impressed with the detail the owners put into this pet friendly vacation rental a few blocks from one of the most charming, historic downtowns in Florida. Many times, the pictures seem like false advertisement for these types of rentals but, the pictures didn't do it justice here. The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. You can tell tons of effort went into making every detail enhance rest and relaxation with an updated elegance in the most beautiful part of an established neighborhood. The view from the front screened in porch is almost like an attraction you have to experience. I wish I was there right now. The car port was great to have in Florida's summer 100 degree temps and thunder storms. The security system added extra peace of mind, even though I don't think you would even need it in that neighborhood. All the appliances were modern and appeared to be brand new. The fully stocked Keurig coffee maker had an automatic latte/cappuccino function! The property manager, Gabi was top notch. She and her team were extremely efficient, professional and very friendly and pleasant to interact with. I'm self admittedly pretty picky and I was really impressed from start to finish with this property and experience. My only regret is, I wasn't able to stay loner.
