Good Orcas location walking distance to Cascade Lake, the old Rosario Resort complex and Eastsound dining & shopping. The house is exactly as listed; modern, clean with wonderful floor to ceiling windows for forest views. Bathroom amenities were very good and I appreciated the whole bean coffee with grinder for a fresh morning cup on the large, fenced deck. Lots of extra blankets made our stay cozy. My dog was safe and comfortable with lots of room to walk on the large property. The host was excellent with communication and provided nice recommendations. We will stay here again! I highly recommend for family, couples or friends weekend.

The house was great! Clean, great location, well-equipped. The views were lovely, and the proximity to Cascade Lake and the trails around it allowed us to go on quick easy hikes and swims. Jan was a wonderful host, super responsive and helpful.We stayed for three weeks with our family of four and two dogs and had no issues with the property except for a brief internet outage that Jan helped get resolved with a couple hours.Highly recommend!

Beautiful little house was perfect for a family getaway! The location couldn’t be better— right by the hotel restaurant (so good!) and cascade lake and the wonderful places in Olga. Host was so easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. Would love to come back!

Fabulous home tucked up in the trees, sparkling clean, modern, minimalist, comfortable. Central location to explore all parts of the island easily, and peaceful Cascade Lake is just down the street. Star gazing on the deck, private and serene setting. One of the best VRBOs we've ever stayed at!

Great Getaway

We had a great time relaxing on the deck enjoying a drink in the morning and afternoons. The Lake was a nice place to walk our dog and taking in the views.

This house was perfectly located and with all of its windows was such a pretty and peaceful view. It was so easy to cook some meals in and located near to shops and restaurants. Our host was excellent! Very communicative and gave us very helpful advice regarding the ferry & special places to visit and eat. We would highly recommend this place to stay! You will be very happy you did!

Modern retreat, great location

Beautiful modern house with lots of natural light. Very comfortable spaces to hang out and relax, including a great deck. Nice location---short walk to Cascade Lake; short drive to Eastsound, Moran State Park, and other places of interest. Host was helpful and very responsive, good communication. Would stay here again!

A lovely home for R&R

This is a lovely home for a short respite. The neighborhood is terrific for long hikes down to the water or into the trails. All of the creature comforts are provided - we wanted for nothing.

Beautiful Orcas Island in the woods

Beautiful house and property. Close to hiking trails and Eastsound. Set in the quietness of trees and lots of Star gazing on the deck. Orcas Island is a special place of beauty.
