Grande Famille maison sur la plage où vous pouvez regarder le soleil se lever sur majestueux Mont Baker, balade de la longue plage ou simplement vous détendre dans l'une des chaises longues sur la terrasse. Cette plage est réputée pour la chasse d'agate et est un excellent endroit pour commencer votre voyage en kayak. Les enfants aiment faire des forts du bois flotté sur la plage

La maison a été rénovée mais conserve néanmoins l'atmosphère chaleureuse du «Beach House de grand-mère». Il est livré avec tout le nécessaire pour une escapade plaisir. Les enfants peuvent jouer sur la plage et les parents peuvent regarder depuis la terrasse. La cuisine a été entièrement rénové et le mobilier presque tous les nouveaux. Il ya une grande salle familiale, salle de séjour avec canapé-lit Queen, Chambre des maîtres avec lit Queen Size et chambre d'hôtes avec 2 lits jumeaux et 2 salles de bains. Il est livré avec barbecue, TV, DVD, magnétoscope, des tables de pique et chaises longues. La maison a une histoire charmante qui nous avons mis par écrit pour que vous appréciiez. Deuxième salle de bain remodelé cette année. PET FRIENDLY

We loved our time in this perfect house on Lummi Island. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and everything was amazing. The house was right on the beach, we took beautiful walks/hikes each day, and the people around town were so friendly. There is alot of room in the house with two large sitting areas. The view from the kitchen and sitting areas is incredible. We loved our stay!

Relaxing at Lummi

The cottage was perfect after we had a busy week traveling through the Canadian Rockies ! Great location , sunrises and sunsets , and beach walks ! Great way to finish off our vacation !

Perfect location!

This is a gem and lives bigger than the pictures show. Well equipped Kitchen and plenty of linens. Very sunny location as compared to south part of island which seems to be more heavily forested and shady. We will be back!

Great property. Right on the sound... lots of amenities (beach towels, dog towels, garage, laundry, blender, sharp knives, cutting boards) and great layout with two social areas plus the kitchen, two bathrooms, and two bedrooms. One of the best VRBOs we've stayed at... first time on Lummi Island, and loved the remoteness-- yet only a ten-minute ferry ride from the mainland. Great opportunities for bike-riding and paddle-boarding! We'll definitely be back.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Finding agates on the beach is fun and you get a nice beach walk. Can't beat walking by the water and enjoying the views.

We’ll be back!

We had a fantastic time visiting Lummi Island. Grandma’s Beach House was just that - it was comfortable and cozy just like grandma’s house. I loved the vintage touches and learning the history of the house. The place was impeccably clean and had everything we could have wanted and more. The views - incredible in all the weather! Beach access was terrific. The bed was comfortable. And we loved that we could bring our dog with us! The place is very accommodating for pets.

This was a great location for our family visit. There is plenty of room to gather indoors or outdoors and the accommodations were clean and well stocked. We really had a great time and hope to return next year if not before. Thanks Virginia for making our stay possible.A side note, not a complaint:As an older person, I would have found a railing or some handhold helpful at the entrances to get up the steps. The BBQ could use a good cleaning.

Quiet family weekend

Our family (two adults and two kids - aged 3 & 7) enjoyed our weekend at “Grandma’s House.” We lived the slow pace of Lummi Island and loved sitting on the patio and eating meals on the picnic table. The house was perfect in size and we loved all the windows out to the view of the water and Mt Baker. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Grandma's House

Was a beautiful spot. The Ocean view looked towards Mt. Baker what else can I say. The house itself was my Grandma's comfy and warm. Saving to come back.

Perfection

This is our second time renting this gem. Clean, comfy, all the amentities you'd ever need, and the view is dynamite. The host Virginia is communicative and pleasant. I have never rented the same place twice, and I am sure there will be a third time in my future!!

Favorite Rental

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. This is our second visit and this time I brought my Dad. It is clean, comfortable, and has all the amentities one needs for the stay. Plenty of beach towels, blankets, chairs, games, kitchen items etc. The view is outstanding. There is beach access. It's a lovely place to reset and enjoy nature's gifts.

Blissful relaxation

We so enjoyed our week on Lummi Island at Grandmas Cottage. Breathtaking views, wonderful beach walks and forest hikes, combing the beach for gorgeous rocks of all colors—what a way to relax and just enjoy being alive!

Wonderfully relaxing

We had an absolutely wonderful, relaxing time in this very clean and comfortable home. They weren't kidding, the beach is right there! We ate wonderful meals brought by a terrific concierge service (Jackie). All our food and treats were delivered and ready for us when we got there. We went for walks daily all three days we were there. Its just a terrific beach! We made a garden of our family on the colorful picnic table with a big piece of driftwood, seashells, beach rocks, those gorgeous pink flowers next to the rocks and shrubbery. I spelled the word Joy on the large rocks in the yard with more rocks and a seashell. Its a really magical place, the views are really beautiful and if you love watching boats, this is your place! Our pups really enjoyed the beach too. We never wanted to leave! Thank you for sharing this wonderful home. We hope to come back again soon! Tom and Tammy Rocky and Maxx... :)

We all loved this space, the many large windows with incredible views of My Baker. The deserted (in April) beach at your front door. Too short of a stay. It was wonderful.

Beautiful view

I can't stress enough how beautiful the view was. I looked forward to waking up every morning just so I could cook breakfast while gazing out across the water. The house itself was great. Well stocked, clean, and definitely comfortable for our family of four.

Perfect Beach Getaway

My family loved staying at Grandma’s House. The beach access was key for the kids, and they loved exploring it all day long. The house is also very bright and open - perfect for enjoying the views.
