Family vacation 2020

We had such a wonderful time on our beach trip. The condo was great and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and the master bed was amazingly comfortable. We will definitely be back!

This one had the best, most up to date furniture, and had everything we needed. The management was very nice to communicate with. They pleasantly surprised us with a welcome note, treats, and even a nice bottle of champagne since they new it was my parents 60th Anniversary. The view is amazing and we love this beach. It is never crowded and the peaceful walk to the Canaveral Seashore is our favorite activity. We would love to stay here again!

Right on the ocean!

Condo easily sleeps 8 - we had 3 teen boys in the bunk beds. Plenty of beach towels and really nice beach chairs provided. Management company was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Only negatives - bathrooms weren't spotless and the location is at the very end so there is a bit of a drive to town.

Thank you for the review and we certainly will double check with Housekeeping regarding the bathrooms. We take great pride in every condo being spotless, clean and neat. We ask that you let us know right away so we can correct any situation. We will also remind guests of the location which many people find a positive as this condo is surrounded by the ocean on one side and only a few steps away the intercostal waterway on the other side. Also, this southern section of NSB is often less crowded and very near the entrance to the Cape Canaveral National Seashore Park. Glad your teens liked the bunk room with the individual charging stations at each bunk! Thanks again for taking the time to review the condo!

Vacation at Chatham

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This. Nod is situated on a beautiful strip of the Atlantic Ocean. One of the most beautiful beaches we've ever encountered. The view from the room was spectacular, however we couldn't fully enjoy it because the room heated up to nearly 85 degrees if you opened the drapes. The a/c was not strong enough to keep the room cool. It was as if the windows were open during to day. Perhaps it needs to be replaced.

We think New Smyrna Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches along the Atlantic coast, as well! You can't beat the views from this Oceanfront Condo. The AC system is Brand NEW, installed in January. We wish you had told us about any issues during your stay so we could have addressed it immediately. With the extended warranty, the company provides very prompt service. Please do not "suffer" through anything like that again. We are here for you 24/7 and our mission is to make your Florida Vacay a most Excellent Stay! We are returning to NSB in June, and we’re v disappointed to find this property unavailable for out time slot. We will be back another time, I’m sure of it! We had to call mgmt a couple times with entry code issues, and Deborah (Debra?) could not have been nicer- thanks so much! Things I will mention: need winded stocked with cleaning supplies; could use another lightweight blanket (only 1 now). Oh, and the door to hall closet is tricky. But none of those things took anything away from a GREAT stay!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo is very nice and spacious. Great value for a family with 3 brdms-one with 4 bunk beds. Beach is GORGEOUS, pool area nice. View from master is amazing but the room is very hot and curtains cannot be open during the day-remains hot in the evening. Per rental instructions, you cannot open the doors to hear the ocean or enjoy the breeze. Couch against the mirrors is in BAD shape. When you sit on it you are right on the frame-very uncomfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfortable enough. South end of the island is quiet and peaceful. Staying at this end is worth the 8-10 min ride to town. Publix, Walgreens and dining are convenient to the condo. Did not like the fact that the gates were never closed as the area is desolate. They do however have security camera's. Unit is superficially clean but expected it to be immaculate based on the cleaning fees-not so. Door on the dryer would not stay closed as reported by previous guests and twice during my stay-no biggie, it works I just had to prop the ottoman against it to dry clothes. Property Mgmt Company was great to deal with especially Debra. The TV situation in the 2 guest rooms really needs to be addressed. Not sure why cable cannot be pulled to those 2 rooms-maybe structural restrictions? People really want their privacy and the ability to go to their own space and watch TV.

Thanks for the detailed review and suggestions. The new dryer under warranty has been repaired by Sears! It is a very nice, quiet section of New Smyrna Beach with a great new padded floor playground and wooden fishing dock across the street. The large wall mounted TV in the Guest room is a Smart TV which allows Guests to login and watch their favorite movies and shows, just like they are at home.

Loved it!

We loved this place! There were some issues initially that could not have been anticipated, but were very satisfactorily resolved. The management company (Florida Vacay) was extremely responsive and worked everything out to our satisfaction. The condo itself is lovely (better than the photos!). The view from the living, dining and kitchen areas as well as the master is breathtaking! The beach is wonderful and never crowded! Same with the pool. My husband and I stayed for a month and our kids and grandkids took turns visiting. We will definitely be back…In fact, we have already reserved it for next summer!

We love NSB!

We had rented this condo for last spring when the pandemic started. We were able to easily move our week to this spring break! My husband and I and our daughter and her family joined us, 4 adults and 4 kiddos. The condo was comfortable for all of us, the pool was perfect for a couple of windy days and most importantly the beach was a short walk away!! I’ve been going to NSB for spring break for 50 years and this was a top 5 stay!!

Fantastic Beachfront Condo

This condo perfectly met our needs and the view was fabulous. We enjoyed it so much we ended up extending by a night. The property management team was very responsive and helpful as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Place to Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I, and my Aunt and Uncle stayed here for 3 nights. The view is fantastic and we enjoyed the beautiful sunrise! The house is very clean and cozy. We could not figure out why the hot water wasn't very hot but soon discovered it was not turned on. Im sure that may have been an oversight on house keeping. We only discovered that when a breaker tripped when we were using too many outlets at one time I guess. We went to switch it back on and discovered the hot water was turned off. After that things were good to go. We also enjoyed the food and live music at JBs fish camp. Great place! Location was pretty far down the beach so not many pizza places wanted to deliver. Over all its a great place to relax and enjoy the view.

We have a guest service line for our renters to call anytime there is something they need addressed at the condos. Condo delightful, though inaccurately named

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was exactly as pictured on the websites; very clean and well-appointed. Plenty of bath and beach towels, beach chairs, and a fairly well-stocked kitchen (although small). This condo is located at Chadham by the Sea, and "Sea Glass Resort" is a bit of a misnomer if someone is trying to locate the property on a map. A couple of suggestions: the heavy glass top on the kitchen table needs to be re-glued, a section of the black-out blinds in living room is missing, the exterior light on microwave is burned out, and it would have been helpful to have a table lamp in the living room for reading. There was only one lamp, a standing lamp, that shed very little light and was also next to the sliding door that is missing the blind. However, a very good experience. A slight mix-up by the office on the master key combo but was able to determine the error. Condo was clean and well-stocked to get us started, beds very comfortable, and in particular the bunk beds were thoughtfully provided with individual lights and an outlet to charge electronics.

We send out arrival information with exact addresses and driving directions 10 days prior to arrival to help our guests properly locate their rental. Wonderful visit!

The beds, kitchen, washer and dryer wihich worked well, and loved the very comfortable living room reclining sofas. The sofas were the most comfortable we have ever had in any condo rental. Need to replace the one missing blind in the living room.

Beautiful condo and location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our extended family (4 adults & two kids) thoroughly enjoyed the unit itself and the proximity to the pool & beach. The unit was clean and well appointed. The pool was clean and convenient and the beach was lovely, with fun tidal pools at low tide and shallow areas with sand bars when the tide was going out, which was great for our grandkids - and the adults as well! We also enjoyed the bikes. I know the unit is being upgraded, but the main things we would recommend is replacing the master bedroom mattress, which is a bit squishy, and getting a faster coffee maker - lol. All in all, it was GREAT! And it was a very good experience renting through this realty company, as opposed to a bigger rental service that is not as local.

Beautiful condo

The condo is as beautiful as the pictures and WOW what a view!! The condo is very spacious and comfortable and includes all the necessary items for preparing a meal. Property was very clean and well maintained.

Everything Perfect

We were completely satisfied and happy with this unit. It was clean and the pictures are representative. Everything worked. We like the convenience of the beach and pool. Not all pools in the area are heated and the management here keeps the pool at a warm but refreshing temperature. We felt the personnel at VaCay were helpful and responsive to any question. We endorse this unit and will reserve it again in the future. Re restaurants our favorite is Blackbeard’s and second is Garlic. We seem to be hit or miss with JB’s across the street.
