Perfect place for our stay! Just close enough to town to walk but also far enough away to have privacy. While my friend and I were doing the Ironman, our families were able to sit at the top of the driveway and cheer us on as the home is on the bike and run route. We loved everything especially location, style, and cleanliness and will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain Retreat in Lake Placid. The home was spotless and incredibly well-appointed—comfortable mattresses, quality linens, excellent furnishings, and top-notch dishes and cookware. Thoughtful details like individual thermostats in each room, great lighting, generous closet space, and a makeup mirror in the master bath really stood out.The host was proactive and communicative, letting us know about a broken dishwasher upon arrival and offering a partial refund, which was very much appreciated. We would absolutely recommend this property and look forward to staying here again.
