AprĂšs 20 ans de location des autres, nous avons pris le meilleur des endroits que nous aimions et amoureusement le mettre dans le nĂŽtre. Nous avons commencĂ© avec un confortable salon oĂč tous les clients peuvent se dĂ©tendre. Notre cuisine est bien Ă©quipĂ©e et dispose d'appareils modernes. Chaque lit est confortable. Le pont est formidable. Il est une grande maison pour plusieurs familles Ă  partager. Il est non seulement pratique pour la ville, il est en ville; marcher Ă  tout. Laissez jusqu'Ă  4 voitures dans notre allĂ©e.
* Un accĂšs pratique au domaine skiable de Whiteface, au High Peaks Wilderness, Ă  la pĂȘche et au golf de classe mondiale. Il se trouve Ă  5 minutes Ă  pied de la zone de transition Iron Man et du parcours de vĂ©lo.
* Allée de stationnement pour un maximum de 4 véhicules (nous avons réussi 6)

Great place for some life long friends to spend time together in a favorite place, the ADKs. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, easy walking distance to town. Everyone got their own sleeping quarters. Good trip.

Amazing perfect location to stay on Lake Placid

This house is stunning—beautifully maintained, spacious, and incredibly quiet. It’s in a perfect location, just a short and easy walk to Main Street and the Olympic Center. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended it by an extra day! The owners were beyond accommodating and made the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend this home for a relaxing and convenient getaway!

Great for our large group. Rooms and bathrooms were comfortable, updated, and clean. Plenty of seating in the living areas. Very well stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels. We appreciated the well designed entry way as it was mud seadon when we visited.

Great house and location

We rented this house because we were attending a wedding in Lake Placid. This was perfect for my husband and I, as well as our 4 children. House was well equipped with everything we needed. Our only complaint - we had to leave an additional $180 in an envelope for the cleaning service which was fine, except when we arrived, there were cob-webs in the corners of the walls and ceiling, there were no trash bags in some of the bathroom waste baskets and we tried to use a plate that obviously had broccoli still on it from the people before us. After that, we washed all dishes prior to using which was somewhat inconvenient. Overall a great stay except for some of the cleaning issues vs. the amount of money we had to pay.

2nd time renters

This was our second summer in a row staying in this incredible home! It was clean and comfortable and the perfect, quiet neighborhood to allow our 5 young kiddos to safely play outside and be put to bed early but still within walking distance of all the action in town! The thoughtfully stocked kitchen and full size washer and 2 dryers were key in allowing us to minimize what we had to pack/bring and the spacious deck was a gem for grilling out and enjoying a cocktail. Another amazing feature is the zoned air conditioning that kept the whole house comfortable in the hot summer weather and made for the most ideal sleeping conditions!! Thank you for having us again this year - we will absolutely be back a third time!!

Accommodating

The host was very accommodating. I needed a place for some out of town family to stay for my father’s retirement party. They allowed us to have extra company over for the party with the agreement we wouldn’t be loud or messy(which we fully followed). The place was more beautiful than the photos and was spotless clean. Thank you so much for the use of your home.

Awesome for large families

We stayed at this spacious Lake Placid home for five days in April 2024 and will forever have the memories of having witnessed the 2024 total solar eclipse on the front porch. While it snowed about a foot before our arrival, the driveway and walkway were cleared to welcome us to the home. We were within easy walking distance from many restaurants, shops and the entire downtown Lake Placid area. Despite being close to other houses on the road, the house felt private and quiet. The house was clean, well stocked and there was plenty of space for five adults and two children. We enjoyed cooking meals together, playing games on the dining table and waking up to the beautiful mountain view. There were mixed reviews on the comfort of the beds, but this comes down to personal preference and overall the accommodations were very comfortable. There was a small rec area downstairs with a huge washer and dryer, which we appreciated. The stairs down to this room are a bit steep, so those traveling with younger kids may want to bring a travel gate. This is a wonderful home for spending time with a large family and visiting the area, so we would highly recommend staying here and hope to return.

Two families who enjoy the outdoors and still, after16 years of co-ownership, love each other. Our house is a great base for outdoor activities: hiking, kayaking, cycling, running, lake swimming, skiing (dh & xc) snowshoeing, climbing (out of bed), fishing, shopping, golf .... all nearby. Collectively, we've traveled the US and abroad but we do the 6+ hour drive to the Adirondacks routinely and have been doing so for over 30 years. For us, there's no other place like it.

Initially, it was location, location, location, price and potential for a great place to bring family, friends and guests. Today, it's still about location but it's potential has been realized. Our ratings, all 90 plus as of this writing, speak for themselves.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

It's not just convenient to town, it's in town. Lake Placid Village center is a 5 minute walk. It's comfortable and roomy without being cavernous. Priced to be an amazing deal for multiple families. Like to cook? You'll love our kitchen. Park your car, your sister's, brother's and mothers cars (5) and forget about them. Did I mention bowling (never been).....right up and around the corner. Foodie restaurants and great drinks in rolling/walking distance. And then there's something else seldom mentioned by other owners: we have the very best property manager in Lake Placid; seldom seen but there if you ever need him.
