Discover the charm of this adorable dog-friendly cottage with a screened-in porch, well stocked full kitchen in a prime location. The property boasts extensive gardens filled with vibrant flowering flora, unique plantings and a fire pit, creating a serene and picturesque setting. Walking distance to downtown Douglas and Schultz Park, you'll have easy access to restaurants, the dog park, boat and kayak launching areas.

Inside are two ample-sized bedrooms - The master bedroom has a luxurious king-sized bed, while the second bedroom offers a cozy queen-sized bed, both with Egyptian cotton sheets on hybrid mattresses that include memory foam. Large closets in each room provide ample space for hanging clothes. Infant portable crib, highchair and inflatable toddler bed are also available.

The living room is designed for socializing and relaxing with a Smart TV equipped with streaming apps and fast Wi-Fi.The fully equipped kitchen boasts an air fryer, a Keurig machine for single cups or a full pot, water kettle and a waffle maker, making meal preparation a breeze. Step out onto the large screened-in porch and take in the direct view of the stunning garden, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening drink in a tranquil setting.

Host was very responsive and sent a ton of helpful information about the area in advance of our trip. House was clean and cozy, and provided plenty of space for 2 adults, a toddler (thanks for having a pack and play) and dog. The backyard is beautiful! We would stay here again!

This house was PERFECT! The dogs LOVED the fenced in yard, the house was extremely clean, and everything was within a very driveable distance (literally 3 minutes from Saugatuck Brewing). If we find ourselves back in the area we will definitely book again!

We had a great getaway for our anniversary weekend!! We are very familiar with the Saugatuck/Douglas area and were happy to be back! The property had a very casual and comfortable feel! Great biking is accessible! We rode to Glen and back along the lakeshore! We will be back in the future!!!

The property is amazing and truly doggie friendly. Our dogs had a wonderful time running around the backyard. We made some truly wonderful memories and thoroughly enjoyed our time in this magnificent little cottage. It was the perfect family getaway.

The humans loved the king size bed! It was SO comfortable! The location was great, too! The fur babies loved the fenced backyard, which was a must for them. They loved the dog blankets and little touches that made for a perfect stay!

When reviewing the amenities and photos of the property while searching for a place to stay, we thought this was very good. But once we arrived, it was even better than we had hoped. Great location, both the Douglas downtown and Saugatuck were very accessible by bicycle, and a great place to relax when not touring the area.

This is such a relaxing, beautiful cottage and property! It worked so well for our two-night getaway with our dog, who also had a ball, exploring the landscaped yard and hanging out on the screened-in porch, where he was thrilled to find a basket of dog toys. There were so many thoughtful touches in this home-away-from-home. Joanna was a gracious host, and we can't wait to return!

Cute, quiet house near Saugatuck and Lake Michigan

House was very clean and perfect for myself, my wife, my two kids and our dog. The location was great, only a few minutes from Saugatuck, and about 20 minutes from South Haven. We loved having the well shaded back yard for our dog to run around!

The term casually elegant best describes the home on Water Street. The owners provided all the items that were needed to make our stay both comfortable and safe and, the fenced backyard, gave our dog the opportunity to run free for at least a part of the trip. An excellent location allowed us to venture out on day trips to a variety of different areas along the shores of Lake Michigan. Would definitely return....
