We’re sorry this guest’s arrival was affected by an unexpected maintenance issue, and we understand how frustrating that can be. However, we feel this one-star review is not a fair reflection of the condominium or the guest’s actual experience. The condo was inspected that morning and was in good condition. Unfortunately, sometime before her 4:00 p.m. arrival, the split-unit A/C froze and began leaking onto the television. We immediately sent an HVAC technician and had maintenance purchase a replacement TV after the guest explained that the television was “very important” to her. She also reported sand in the bathtub, so we immediately contacted housekeeping and arranged for them to come vacuum it out. Unfortunately, she declined to allow them inside. While coordinating HVAC, maintenance, and housekeeping, we received numerous calls from the guest, making it difficult to communicate with the vendors working to resolve the issues. We ultimately offered a full refund, which we honored. The guest was in the condo for less than two hours and never actually stayed overnight. We truly understand that unexpected problems can be disappointing, and we always do our best to respond quickly and make things right. In this case, we believe we did just that. We hope future guests will consider that this review reflects an unfortunate mechanical issue rather than an actual stay in the condominium. NOTE* The homeowner opted to purchase a brand new AC unit, which has since been installed

Studio was as described. Communication when we couldn’t find our room right away was super easy. Proximity to everything was great. We walked or rode bikes everywhere. Tram to the beach was super convenient.

We enjoyed our stay! The condo unit was immaculately clean. Everything we needed was there! Our host was easy to reach and very personable. One thing I might add, our Google GPS let us down, and took us to a property 8 miles away. I called our Host Wendy, who talked us all the way to our condo. I might add, Apple Maps took us to Restruants and golfing with no problems. Walk to shopping, easy peasy! Lots of good places to eat and find treasures to take home.

The Perfect Vacation Getaway & Great Location

My Husband & I absolutely enjoyed our stay! We loved everything about our suite from the cleanliness, decor, the overall comfort & everything it offered. We love how everything was walking distance from our location & how it’s very family oriented. We would definitely recommend booking your stay here!

We loved the walkability of the area. The studio itself was beautifully appointed. The studio was immaculate and we loved that! The tram service was dependable and necessary. The beach was lovely, but crowded which surprised us! Restaurants were fabulous and walkable! We highly recommend a stay!!!

Checking in we had trouble with the air-conditioner. It was stuffy and hot as we arrived to check in. It took us awhile to figure out the air, as there were no instructions. The air conditioner turned off by itself multiple times. I also assumed since there was a fridge, that there would also be an ice maker in the freezer. The freezer did not have an ice maker; however, it did have ice cube trays. Staying at the beach, we needed more ice than the ice cube trays provided so we had to go buy bags of ice. Location was ideal and the place was decorated very nicely with multiple storage areas!

Highly recommend

Fantastic, large suite. Everything was new and clean. Bed and pull out sofa were both super comfy. I traveled with one of my teens, and we both felt we had lots of space to stretch out. Highly recommended, and I would definitely book this again when we come back to 30A.

Review of stay

This was our first time at this property and area, we were new to the 30a so we were technically in Seacrest. It’s a good area if you want to be between Alys and Rosemary. The management was great, they accommodated us for an early check-in and late checkout and made on the fly changes for us regarding this. The room itself is beautiful and very coastal and makes you feel like you’re on vacation. It’s on a property that I believe used to be a hotel so you don’t get the full beach house vibe, but it’s more so an apartment/condo. My only suggestion is that the cleaning team does need to be more thorough, we found trash under our bed and there was dust/stains from spilled drinks behind our nightstands and entertainment center. Again, not a big deal but what you’re paying for you expect pristine. Also I’d recommend to change the shower liner and provide shampoo since there wasn’t any and just soap. Overall we had a great time! Property manager was excellent and very professional.

Cute place in a great location!

Overall, we loved the Cupcake! The advertised images were very accurate. Upon arrival, we had zero issues getting into our room with the key code provided. It should be noted that there is an elevator, but it is only accessible through one of the two entrances to the building. Parking was easy and close by. The management staff was quick to respond to emails. The location was convenient, with quick bites and coffee close by. We did not use the pool or hot tub on our stay. We did not have WiFi access in the unit, despite a router being present, it just wasn’t connected to the internet. I am a Verizon customer and it was difficult to get messages to send out. We did not have t.v access either. Just something to consider if this is important to your stay. Other than a small trashcan in the bathroom, there was no other place to dispose of garbage. We had to reach out to the management company and ask for an ironing board and trash bags, which they promptly brought. As for a place to keep your belongings, there is very little space. There is not a chest or dresser to unpack your bag. The bottom of the closet was filled with a vacuum, small TV, medicine cabinet, dustpan/broom. There was a small amount of space for hanging clothes. This left only the floor for our suitcases and other bags. Very small (tiny and crowded) beach privileges for this unit. The majority of the beach in this area is private for other condos and not for S. Walton guests.
