We want to make sure you have the utmost convenience! You'll be provided an access code to the main entrance prior to check-in. We are local, and will be able to be reached by phone, text, or email, during the duration of your stay.

The Dam Lake House is conveniently located just a short drive from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg and Radford University, making it an ideal location for families visiting students or attending university events. Virginia Tech is approximately 30 miles away, and Radford University is approximately 13 miles away.

The charming town of Dublin, VA, is only a 5-minute drive from The Dam Lake House and offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and local attractions. You'll find everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including grocery stores, pharmacies, and medical facilities.

All areas of the house, decks, and dock are open for access to guests. The dock available for use by renters and their guests for sun-bathing and swimming, there is space for renters to dock their own boat. The garage is used by the owners and is not available for guests.

This home offers 4 bedrooms and 2 full bath, all located on the same level.

The Lake Effect House is easily accessible by car and is conveniently located just off I-81 in Dublin, VA. If you are traveling by air, the closest airport is Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport, which is approximately 50 miles away.

Once you arrive at the property, you can park your car in the driveway, which has space for up to three cars. From there, you can easily access the main entrance of the house.

While there is no public transportation directly to the property, there are several taxi and ride-sharing services available in the area. Additionally, if you're interested in exploring the local attractions, renting a car is highly recommended.

- Absolutely no parties allowed any parties will result in a canceled reservation and immediately being asked to leave.

- Dogs are allowed but must be included on listing and pet fee must be paid. Limited to 2 dogs maximum. Dogs must be kept on-leash at all times when outdoors.

- Pets allowed with additional $100 pet fee.

- Do not run air conditioning with doors open.

- At checkout, guests must remove sheets and duvet covers and place with towels in bathrooms.

- Ensure all windows and doors are locked when checking out.

- Maximum of 3 Cars allowed and must park on driveway of house. Absolutely no parking on street.

- Fireplaces are not to be used by guests.

- Trash bins located near parking area by the road at the top of the stairs.

-Propane (for grill use):
1. There MAY BE a propane tank available at the house.
2. If you see a tank, you may use it for the grill.
3. If the tank is empty, guests are responsible for refilling it.
4. We DO NOT provide propane refills.
