NOTE - our separate upstairs studio is currently occupied by a couple studying in graduate school; aside from the shared walkway leading to the staircase, guests will have exclusive access to the front and back patios as well as the garage!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The home was exactly as stated. It was clean and very well maintained. Charming cottage with a good amount of space. It is well equipped with everything you could want for a week on the bay. I hope to return soon.

I can’t say enough good things about this property, and the host! The location is excellent, the home is charming, well appointed, and beautifully maintained, and the host responded in a very timely fashion to answer questions. We absolutely loved our time in this home and wish we’d stayed longer!

The place is beautiful, well kept and what an amazing location! It has 2 outdoor seating areas, one where you can meet the neighbors and those passing by and the other for more of a private setting, both have a cozy fire pit. Will definitely be back!

This house was so completely charming, sparkling clean and well located. The bikes, beach chairs and games were such a plus. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. I was a superhost for years and have rarely stayed in such a perfect home. I can't wait to return!

This is a beautiful Balboa Island home, fits the description in the listing perfectly. Clean throughout and it was nice to walk in with the windows open, quite welcoming. Our family of 5 fit with plenty of extra space. Parking in garage and in the alley behind.

We enjoyed our stay at the Balboa Harborside Retreat. Great location, comfortable furnishings and the kitchen had everything we needed. We didn’t realize the twin beds on the first floor were bunked, but it all worked out and our family had a great vacation. Thank you!

Our family celebrated Christmas at this very lovely home. Everything throughout the home is thoughtfully curated. The comfortable & meticulously clean place made our stay wonderful. Also, we really liked the close walk to the ferry.

This house is clean, spacious and comfortable. The furnishings are so nice and all of the beds were comfortable. There are two outdoor areas to enjoy. It was also nice to use the bikes that were available. The house is just a quick walk to the ferry and also to the Main Street. The kitchen is fully stocked and there are amble towels to use. I would absolutely stay here again and I would recommend it to others.

Wonderful host and great property! Super clean -- I have dust allergies so thats important to me. Wonderful location, multi-gen family of 5 and it was very comfortable. Parking was a breeze and easy walk to shops and activities. Definitely will go back.
