Relaxing area - 5 bedroom Villa Coral

Casa Coral is situated just 700 meters from the Charming Golden Beach of Praia da Coelha, and also handsome alternative beaches such as São Rafael, Castelo, Galé, as well as several stores and a fine variety of front line beach Restaurants. The villa is situated close to the President´s holiday villa, with 24H police security.
Encircle by a hush green lawns with neat flowers beds, Casa Coral , opens a bright open living rooms with light bamboo furnishings and access onto a patio with a bench-style table.
The garden, which has a nice degree of privacy thanks to a high wall and fence, features a kidney shaped pool on its centre, also a poolside BBQ where you can join your outside meals.
The kitchen is very well equipped with a dinning area looking onto the front lawn.
3 ground floor bedrooms, one bathroom and one shower room (each w/ hairdryer) are reach by 2 steps from the living room.
Marble steps lead to the 2 bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms, one double and one twin.

Well appointed. Plenty of loungers and other seating outside and inside. Good sized pool.Very good communication with Elsa who was very accommodating with arrival and departure times.Good beaches nearby, but the children were much happier playing in and around the pool.Some restaurants within walking distance, but car handy for more selection and/or supermarket visits for any self catering.

Casa Coral in Gale

The Villa was situated in a perfect position for us, in a quiet neighborhood with a sort walk to the nearest beach, a ten minute walk to the nearest pubs and restaurants, a short taxi ride to the old town 8/9 Euros. Elsa was our property manager who was at hand when ever we needed her which was only once when the washing machine broke down she had some one round asap and a new one fitted. I would also like to say the pictures of this villa do not do it justice i would definitely recommend it and hopefully be back one day.

Great villa

We were looking for a villa large enough for 6 adults, 4 children and 2 babies and Casa Coral has space in abundance. Especially around the garden and pool area. We chose this villa mainly because the owner was so flexible with regards to changeover days and duration of our stay and we found other owners wouldn't entertain anything other than a Saturday arrival. With Elsa this was not a problem. She also let us stay in the villa until 2pm (instead of the standard out by 10am rule) because we had a later flight. I guess this would be dependent on when the next guests were arriving though. The pool is great and bigger than it appears in the photo's. There is a nice BBQ terrace with a traditional Portuguese BQQ and the gardens were very well maintained. Another good thing about the gardens was the amount of grass compared to hard pavings which was ideal for the little ones to run around safely all day. The pool area stayed sunny from about 9am until 7pm ish. Inside the villa there is a sitting area which was large enough for all of us to sit comfortably. I think the TV has English channels but we didn't even use it. There is a small table in the sitting area under a large sunny roof light. The kitchen / dining area is a good size with a big round dining table that can sit 10 people. They also have space in the dining area for a pool table. All the bedrooms are double size and 3 (out of the 4) bathrooms are family size. You may find yourselves arguing as to who has the two first floor ensuites as these were larger and finished to a high standard. The villa was in a very quiet location on a dead end road and there were enough good restaurants / bars to keep everyone happy. We decided not to get a car and used taxis to get a big shop when we first got there (10 euros) and spend an evening in Albufeira (6 euros). There are a couple of smaller super markets dotted around the local area within walking distance. There is a great little beach, Coehla, within 5mins walk from the villa and another (Castello I think) about 15 mins away. To be honest we hardly used the beaches because the kids were more than happy to stay around the pool. Some of the adults found the time to sneak off to the beach for a crafty afternoon beer in the excellent beach bar / restaurant. We would highly recommend this excellent villa to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday for families in a great location

Fabulous villa

Such a lovely villa. As said in other reviews- the pictures really don’t do it justice! The villa has everything you need and the outdoor space is perfect for sun lovers and shade seekers alike! The beds are very comfortable and the villa easily accommodates 2 large family’s with everyone having enough space. Elsa is just lovely. She is extremely helpful and accommodating. The welcome pack on arrival is just perfect and more than enough to tide guests over until they can get to a supermarket. We didn’t hire a car and found local taxis to be really easy to call, fast to arrive and reasonable in price. All the drivers we encountered very really friendly with useful bits of local information too. Coelha beach is a very easy walk away but we did walk to some other beaches too along the coast path and would recommend the picnic restaurant overlooking the next beach along to Coelha - stunning view and lovely staff. We had an amazing holiday and hope to return. A big thank you to Elsa too

Nós ficamos hospedados nesta casa com a nossa familia, 6 adultos e 3 crianças. Adoramos o espaço, salas espaçosas e jardim enorme para os miudos. Decidimos pelo aquecimento da piscina e valeu a pena visto a data da nossa estadia. O caminho a pé para a praia tornou-se divertido para todos, são cerca de 12 minutos com algumas paragens para tirar fotos e depois a praia é maravilhosa e em nov tinhamos ela só para nós. Elsa recebeu-nos na chegada e explicou tudo sobre a casa e até nos deu umas dicas sobre restaurantes e actividades locais. Serviço de limpeza excepcional Vamos Voltar Obrigada

Amazing villa in perfect location

We had such a relaxing time at Casa Coral. The villa is beautiful with everything you need. The facilities are great. The villa host Elsa welcomed us and made us feel welcome, she is lovely. The villa is well kept and it felt like home for the 10 days we stayed. We were familiar to the area but everything is on your doorstep, it’s 10 minutes walk to rabbit beach and 15/20 minutes walk to Saorafeal beach. Amazing restaurants in walking distance too. We will be booking again in the future for definite! Thank you Elsa!

Perfekt boende för den stora familjen eller kompisgänget.

Husägaren: Elsa Silva är den ultimata värdinnan. Hon ordnade med taxiresa från Faro flygplats för oss och allt fungerade 100%. Elsa skrev och hälsade oss välkomna på messenger när flyget landat. Hon mötte upp oss med ett varmt välkomnande. Vi fick en välkomstkorg med bröd, juice o annat gott! Huset och läget: lugnt o fint läge med privata hus omkring. Längst upp på gatan låg dock ett fint hotell som hjälpte oss med beställning av våra taxiresor. Serviceminded personal. Smidigt att ta sig till beachen. Elsa visade vilken väg att gå ner. På vägen till stranden fanns det ett minimarket uppe på Resort. (tar bara cash) Färskt bröd o vatten mm. Runtomkring fanns det flera supermercados och bra restauranger bland annat Restauranger som Marinheiro och Jompra. God mat. God service. Finns många restauranger i närheten om man är beredd att promenera 10 minuter. Huset i sig är toppen. Stort och fint. Rent. Finns en toppensvit med både dusch och badkar! Alla nöjda med sina rum. Köket mycket väl utrustat. Biljardbordet var toppen. Poolen härlig och dess poolområde. Vi stannade i huset för middagar 4/7 kvällar.( grillade ) Det finns broschyrer om utflykter m.m Gick att hyra cykel och bil. Sammanfattningsvis: är en vecka alldeles för kort tid här. Vi vill återvända och helst så snart det är möjligt! Tack Elsa för den här veckan. Vi återkommer och rekommenderar detta boende till fullo. Hälsningar Eva med familj och vänner

Spacious Inside and Out

We found this property lovely - it is clean, spacious and well kept both inside and out. We used the option of the pool heating due to the time of year we holidayed and we have children - it was perfect and the children swam happily every day! Elsa the owner could not have been more helpful. We would highly recommend.

Wonderful!

We had the most wonderful stay in Villa Coral, the photos on the website do not do it any justice. It was so spacious and totally fabulous. Elsa was very helpful and was always available for advice and information. The outside space is glorious, we ate at home most days so we could take full advantage of the bbq area and the pool was just perfect. I would recommend hiring a car if you don't like to walk too far; we just hired one for a few days so we could get to Villamoura and a couple of other places slightly further out. We were a party of 9 and would most definitely come back again and would, wholeheartedly, recommend it as a relaxing, lovely place to spend some time.

Good time had by all

Good villa with great outdoor space to justify the £2k+ price for a week in July. Couple of good bars and restaurants 10 min walk up the road. Bit further to beach than thought and bit of a hike back but the beach is spectacular.

Fabulous casa coral

The villa was fabulous. Extremely well equipped. Plenty of room for all of us. Everything was spotlessly clean. The outside was lovely, we especially liked the fact there was grassed area for kids, and a swing. The pool was great. We spent most of our time outside and we used it every day especially in the evening. The gazebo was a godsend in the heat. We didn't move out of the villa for couple of days. Cheap taxi to supermarket or into Albufeira. Went to local bars which were within 5minutes walk. Beach was about 10 minutes walk and lovely. In a quiet position, but not cut off. Couldn't fault this villa the best we have ever stayed in, but what made it even more special was Elsa, she was so lovely, gave us lift to supermarket first day, there was lovely bowl of fruit waiting for us, plus other provisions. She arranged transfer for us at a very reasonable price, we had slight problem with hot water but it was dealt with within the hour. Al in all I can't recommend this villa highly enough, just a pity we can't make it next year, but will definitely come again. Thank you for a great summer holiday. We stayed in August2015, wouldn't let me change calendar

There always a fear you don't get what you want !

All 5 bedrooms are a good size with 2 double beds with good bedding. There is a very usable lounge with some uk tv that included kids tv if needed.  There is also a larger circular dinning table indoors next to the kitchen. Out doors is great!  The BBQ is great and we used it every day with a large dining table. The villa area is private and walled in and has plenty of grassed area. The pool is a fair size and well maintained as is the villa. The owners are delightful with great English skills who go the extra mile to help. There is a large gazebo that is brilliant if you want to dodge the sun for an hour or so. There is a hotel 100 metres away that used on occasion for lunch by the pool and a beer at lunch time. The beach is 400 meters way with a cafe on the beach side that again is very acceptable.   There are 20+ restaurants within a mile and 10+ sports bars. 3 supermarkets within a mile. A rental car is not needed if you want a quite time. There are many themed attractions within 10 miles if you want yo venture out. Again taxis are accessible if you don't want to drive. I will use the villa again. I took my wife, children and grand children away

An excellent family villa - just the job!

This was our second holiday at Casa Coral and once again it was an excellent stay. The enhancements were brilliant & we spent many hours in the gazebo. The description of the property was accurate. It was well maintained and cleaned as last year, and I would have no hesitation recommending anyone to stay. The restaurant recommendations were also very good.

Great villa - would definitely go back!

Myself and nine friends stayed in Casa Coral for a week and had a great time. The villa is situated in a quiet location, very close to three small beaches (which are lovely but can get quite crowded due to their size) and within walking distance of a few shops and restaurants. We did walk to the big supermarket one day but it was only about 5euros for a taxi. The villa itself was very well maintained and well-equipped (there is even a dishwasher) and modern furnishings throughout (especially the two bedrooms and ensuites on the first floor). Only the bedrooms have air conditioning but we didn't find this to be a problem as the rest of the villa stayed quite cool. The garden and pool were well maintained, with plenty of sunloungers and space to relax outside. The BBQ area was also great and the sun stayed in the garden until about 7pm. Elsa was extremely welcoming and helpful - she booked taxis to and from the airport and even made sure there was a big enough table available for us in a restaurant in a nearby town. She also provided us with a welcome hamper on arrival, which included milk, bread, jam, fruit etc. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and would note that whilst it's not necessary to have a car, it may be helpful if you want to fully explore the surrounding areas. Though we were able to call taxis from the hotel up the road (for a charge of 50cents) which took us to Albufeira for about 10/15euros.

Summer (Aug 2011)

We went as a family of 10, the age range was from 5 to 70. This villa had everything we needed, plenty of space both inside and out and everyone really enjoyed the location. The pool was great, bbq area superb and 10 sunbeds to lounge on all day. At night local restaurants were all ok, plenty to choose from and Albufeira was 5 mins away in a taxi. (about 6 euros). All prices were reasonable at the reastaurants too which was nice. The local beach is small and about 5 mins walk away, Gale beach is walkable for adults but not younger kids (taxi 5 euro). So - for easy living during the day, local quiet nights but with albufeira easily reachable, this is a fantastic location. We would all reccomend it and would all go back.

Fab Villa

I can not agree more with the comments below. The Service Friendly and professional service from Elsa, from pre booking to arrival and departure. Nothing was too much trouble which helped make our holiday stress free. The Villa The villa was fantastic, very spacious and clean with all the ammenities needed for a home from home. Location Very quiet, perfect for a relaxing holiday. A few nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. I would not hesitate in recommending this villa.

Casa Coral

We had one of our best holidays ever at Casa Coral. The facilities were better than expected - excellent. Concesa was lovely - very helpful and willing. The villa was perfectly situated and we loved the local beach and bar. I am sure we will be in touch again for another holiday.
