Unité de 3 chambres sur la propriété en bord de mer avec coin patio désigné en bord de mer, grill électrique, table de pique-nique, cuisine entièrement équipée, câble numérique, WIFI, à distance de marche de tous les divertissements, duplex (côte à côte chaque unité a 3 chambres), à quelques pas de la plage, unité du propriétaire à côté pour toutes les demandes ou problèmes. Ces unités sont spacieuses et meublées avec tous les besoins de votre maison, sauf que vous devrez apporter vos propres serviettes, draps, couvertures, oreillers et produits en papier. La propriété en bord de mer a ce duplex avec la maison d'été du propriétaire, la maison du propriétaire se trouve en face du duplex mais le duplex a une vue sur le lac. Ambiance familiale et conviviale.

The location of the property was amazing. We had an issue with a light switched and we called and that was addressed immediately. The only issue I had with our stay was the laminate flooring was all broken and it was covered with a large throw rug. We had 2 children under 2 with us.

Hi Amy, The floor repair is scheduled to be completed this month. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to address the issue until there was a break in the rental season. What initially appeared to be a problem with the flooring that was installed just two years ago became more of an issue over time with the heavy traffic from rentals. The good news is that there will be a brand-new floor in place for next season! We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back.

The location of the property is perfect. Everything was with in walking distance. My kids could walk to the beach and to the arcade with no problem. Loved the little shops around the area. The host are very kind.

Great location, great home, loved the easy access to the beach and parking. The only thing to be aware of is the bathroom is upstairs and the stairs are very steep. This wasn’t an issue for me and I may of very well missed this stated in the listing. My elderly mom had a very challenging time with the stairs which made getting to the bathroom difficult. But otherwise a wonderful stay and will come back. Thank you!

The only complaint we have is that the rental was not directly on the beach as the description described. The landlords house was behind the rental which blocked the view. There was a patio in front of their home for use to get to the beach and see the views. Also when we sent a text asking questions about putting our kayaks somewhere, we did not get a response. Otherwise the rental was very nice and clean.

"Spacious 3-bedroom unit in a two-unit beachfront duplex, located directly behind the landlord’s summer home. Enjoy partial lake views, your own designated beachfront patio set, direct beach access, gas grill, picnic table, fully equipped kitchen, smart TV with YouTubeTV, Wi-Fi, and walking distance to local entertainment. Please note: Shared property – landlord’s unit is in front and next door for any requests."

We had a wonderful time, and the condo was perfect for our needs. It was very close to everything and a nice set up for a family with a toddler. The host was very responsive to our needs, and it was very family friendly. The sunsets here are to die for! Thank you for a great day!

Great little place by a giant lake, with a cool little carnival (closed for the season at the time we stayed) and restaurants within walking distance. ONE BONE TO PICK would be the absence of linens towels and pillows. While I think it’s a little unusual and have never encountered in my stays elsewhere (who travels with ALL of that stuff? Linens?) and I guess it’s the host’s right to not provide to reduce costs, this element was not made apparent, which I think it needs to be. It’s totally on me for not reading the fine print, but unless I overlooked it elsewhere, this aspect wasn’t mentioned until 2 or 3 pages/clicks in, twds the bottom. This doesn’t take away from how lovely the place and stay was but it was a bit odd and frustrating not to have these things.

The best part of this place was the location. I was down there with friends for a volleyball tournament, and having walk-out access to the beach was really convenient (as was the hose by the door to rinse sand off before going in). Sara was easy to communicate with, and worked with me to figure out a convenient check-out time (for an extra fee). The listing was a bit confusing to me, in that your rental isn't right on the beach, but rather behind the owner's house, which is. However, there's a patio area (shared between the owners and the other attached rental) that walks right out on the beach which was great. I always feel it's a bit uncomfortable when the owner is so close to your rental property, like you're being watched all of the time (however, they did absolutely nothing to make us feel that way, so maybe that's just a personal issue I should work on). The listing was clear that there's not much provided besides dishes and utensils, but that does make for a much larger packing list (sheets, pillows, towels, toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, etc.). The three upstairs rooms were not big, but were sufficient for our needs, and even had enough room to squeeze in a pack-n-play. The appliances worked, there was a grill outside the door, and the smart-tv and WiFi worked well. Overall, this property was a bit on the pricey side and didn't come with many amenities, but the owners were nice and easy to deal with, the location was excellent, and we had a great stay.

Delightful stay in Sylvan Beach

Being close to the beach was important to me and this is exactly what we got. House was clean and it's location was superb. We ended up staying an additional night and property owners were very cooperative in making this possible. We had beautiful weather and the beach was not overcrowded. We just loved it here. Special Thanks to our Hosts for making this possible.

Relaxing Getaway

Third year coming back to this property. This year my son and family rented one side and my daughter, husband, myself and my husband rented the other side. Beautiful spot for a family getaway just steps from the beach. Sunsets are amazing and shallow water and beach great for the kids. Looking forward to next year.

Fun getaway

Cute little place to stay for a few nights. Very clean. Right by the beach. Grill and stove definitely need to be updated, but worked well enough. Everyone had a great time and we all agree that we would go back.
