Descendez notre allée privée, ouvrez la porte Olas et vous trouverez une hacienda de style mexicain avec une fontaine circulaire entourée de jardins verdoyants et vous aurez votre première vue spectaculaire sur la piscine et l'océan. Il est votre merveille de vacances privée.
Entrez dans notre maison par de lourdes portes en bois. Vous avez un atrium coulissant en verre avec des plantes, une fontaine murale, une table ronde en béton et des escaliers circulaires menant à la zone de repos recouverte de palapa.
Le salon principal avec sa vue imprenable sur l'océan comprend un salon / salle à manger spacieux et une grande cuisine séparée qui dispose de tous les outils nécessaires à votre chef cuisinier. L'immense suite parentale climatisée avec ventilateurs de plafond comprend un salon, salle de bain et lit king size moderne. Réveillez-vous et voir le lever du soleil avec le café au lit. Une suite deuxième chambre climatisée dispose d'un lit queen et grand bain récemment rénové. Surprise, la troisième chambre à coucher climatisée est comme une villa privée appelée casita. style mexicain conçu avec des carreaux de talavera détaillée, la suite est seulement six étapes à la porte de la maison principale avant et une douzaine à la piscine.
Les activités extérieures comprennent une sieste dans le hamac mexicain sur le porche au bord de la mer, un déjeuner à la table du porche à l'ombre du palapa, ou peut-être un plongeon dans la piscine d'eau douce ou simplement vous détendre au bord de la piscine dans l'un des salons ou le deuxième hamac sous la piscine palapa. Que diriez-vous d’une baignade nocturne à la piscine éclairée de façon romanesque avec ses cascades. We loved our stay at Casa De Las Olas. We try to visit Isla annually and stay in a house near Punta Sur. The views of the Caribbean were stunning, the house was well equipped, and the check-in and check-out were seamless. Highly recommend Casa De Las Olas to anyone visiting Isla.

The pictures do not do this house justice. It was so cute and authentic. The host went well above standard to provide a comfortable welcoming stay. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms . We didn’t have to worry about drinking water , toilet paper, hand soap towels, salt pepper etc. they even provided welcome drinks and breakfast food for our arrival. The location was out of the crowds but close to great restaurants . The view was beautiful especially at sunrise.

Perfect house in a beautiful, oceanfront spot, on the quiet part of Isla Mujeres.

First time on Isla and definitely made the right lodging choice- great spot for a view and relaxation, but an easy golf cart ride to good restaurants and the busier part of the Island. Would stay at Casa de las Olas again!

Everything was wonderful. The house felt like home with everything you could need or want. Spacious, well decorated, SUPER comfortable master bed. The view is one of a kind. There are not many homes that have this kind of expansive, unobstructed view of the Caribbean. You could sit on the back porch and never leave. We had most of our meals out there. The breeze through the house was so refreshing and consistent, keeping everything nice and cool. The view from the top floor palapa area was a whole extra level, making morning coffee and stretching so peaceful. We were there for a week and felt like we didn't even get to scratch the surface for all the house has to offer. There's games, books, cable tv, wifi, walking distance to the Lighthouse (beautiful walk by the way). We used the pool a handful of times for a few minutes, very refreshing and perfect size to take a dip and cool off. The generous welcome drinks, chips, and breakfast were a very nice touch and helped make our arrival much more relaxing, knowing we didn't have to run out for supplies. This is a beautiful, relaxing home with a million dollar view. Thank you for sharing it with us common folk. My husband and I agree that this was the nicest vacation we have ever had, 100% because of the house.

Amazing view

Lovely home with beautiful ocean view in quiet area of the island. Loved hearing the waves, feeling the ocean breeze and watching the sunrise each morning. Pool was great and the kitchen well stocked.

First Family Getaway to Isla

We absolutely loved staying at Casa De Las Olas. The communication we received beforehand was extremely helpful. The property is gorgeous and had everything we needed. The greeter was very welcoming and helpful. We are very happy we chose this house for our family trip.

Great stay

We enjoyed casa de las olas, great location on punta sur, beautiful views. Enjoyed the rooftop in the evenings and mornings. The property manager met us at house when we arrived, we loved that they had a few items stocked in the house and fridge. Host was very responsive when I needed to extend a night. Great property, great stay on Isla.

Welcome to our Mexican home. It has been a wonderful venture with many challenges. All worth it. We hope that you enjoy your stay in our Isla home and ask that you treat it as you would your own. Enjoy !!
Casa de las Olas history -- After visiting Isla for several years, property became available in the south end. In 1999 we purchased our lot. There were no other houses near our property. Our main house was finished in 2002 and ready for move in without any electrical power. That’s right, the first two years there were no poles along the street. Generator, my, it was noisy. We and the few homeowners down south of us established a home association and worked with the electric company to install electricity (of which we had to pay significant dollars). In 2004 we added the Mexican Casita so we would have more room for visiting family. 2005 was a big year with our last major hurricane, WILMA. We woke up and the house was still here, so we said, OK," let’s put in a pool". In 2006 we were swimming. In 2012 we remodeled the master bedroom and bath with a heavy sliding door for our privacy when family and friends arrive. In 2019 we decided to share with others and rent while we were up north. That same year we added split air-conditioning to the bedrooms. Full house air normally is not needed plus very expensive. In 2025, we decided to convert a large storage are to a fourth bedroom and bath. So here we are in 2025, I am now 83 (and the love of my life, Janet has passed) renting to you as I spend a little more time with family in the USA. So, please, enjoy our casa for Janet and me.
Our United States home is also on an island, about twice the size as Isla, called Grosse Ile located in Michigan. We have been very thrilled to have two homes with water all around us. Lucky too! SO PLEASE ENJOY OUR ISLA HOME.

When we bought the property, there was only one house on our Oceanside. It was unbelievable: the many colors of blue water, the cooling breezes, and island wildlife. Paradise!!! YES...
Slowly others have joined us, buying property and adding their dream house. Now we have what we dreamed of before year 2000, but with great neighbors and their guests.

Living next to the sea and enjoying a laid back life. In addition, a short ride away you have the white sand world famous north beach, a Centro district with touristy stores and many many fabulous restaurants. How wonderful it is.
