Golf Trip

Old friends getting together for an annual golf trip for Super Bowl weekend. The house and location were perfect ! Plenty of space for six of us. Would love to stay there again !

This was last minute booking because our VRBO property that we had booked 9 months prior was cancelled last day before our arrival. We had to choose from very few properties that were available. It was not exactly what we wanted, but we were so relieved to have a place to stay. The owner was very responsive to us when we reached out,and also ( we believe) was not expecting to have people in there that week,so was also scrambling to to prepare for guests. The home was nicely updated. We did leave her some suggestions that we thought might make the house more user friendly. We assume she will take our advice, judging from her quick responses when we were there.

Fun house - great stay

Great place for a large group. All king beds in 5BRs, plenty of house and backyard space. Billiards table, putting green, pool and hot tub for fun. Excellent communication from the host - thanks!

Family Christmas vacation

We had a wonderful time staying in your vacation home!!! It was very nice and comfortable. We made a lot of memories and would definitely like to stay there again!!! My grandsons had a great time fishing, playing pool and swimming!!!! Everything we needed was right there. Thank you so much for the use of your home!!! Overall, the house was clean and comfortable and had plenty of room. The billiards table was a nice amenity. However, the jacuzzi was tepid and the “heated pool” was ice cold:( Communication regarding how to fix this was minimal and unsuccessful. Given that these two amenities were very much part of why we chose this house, it was disappointing to say the least. Additionally, the downstairs bathroom had no hot water at anytime during our stay and the outside garbage (which was half full upon our arrival) was never picked up over the 5 days we stayed, and therefore was overflowing:(

The home was nice and able to accommodate our group. That said, there were a few issues that impacted our experience. Prior to our stay—only a few weeks before our arrival, we were informed that one bedroom and one bathroom were completely removed from the property. This was a complete change to what we originally booked. The communication around this was not great, and the timing made it difficult to find alternative accommodations.Given this change, it would have been reasonable to adjust the cost accordingly. Which they did not. While we were still able to make it work, it was not ideal, our adult kids ended up having to share our room.Additionally, the hot tub blower was not working upon arrival, though it was repaired the following morning, which we appreciated.Another challenge was the ongoing construction on the entire road surrounding the property. This was not communicated and the noise—starting around 7 AM and continuing throughout the day made it difficult to relax and enjoy the outdoor space, particularly the pool area. I believe due to the construction there was a foul sewage smell. Speaking outdoor space, while nice, the back of the house and pool area could use a bit of a refresh to match the overall appeal of the home. Also neighbors spotlight shined across pool area and right into the bedroom windows. Overall, the home is nice and has the potential for a great stay, but better communication, a few improvements would make significant difference.
