Nestled within one of Gainesville’s most historic homes, this unit is one of four that together exude a unique blend of history and modern comfort. Our location offers unparalleled convenience. Just a short five-minute drive to the University of Florida, our studio is ideally situated for visiting old colleagues, attending events, or exploring the vibrant campus. You’ll also be within walking distance of downtown Gainesville, known for its eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. For nature lovers, Depot Park offers beautiful green spaces and walking trails, while the Grove Street Farmer’s Market, held every Monday at 4 PM, provides a local taste of Gainesville’s freshest produce.

Healthcare professionals and patients will appreciate our proximity to North Florida Hospital, a quick 15-minute drive away, as well as Shands Hospital and the VA, just 10 minutes from the property. Whether you’re here for work, visiting loved ones, or enjoying a mini-vacation, our studio serves as the perfect home base. Guests can easily access the property using two smart locks: one at the common foyer and another for the unit itself. We use Yale/August smart locks, ensuring secure and convenient entry and exit. 🏡🔑☺️

The hosts will not be available in person, but we’re happy to communicate through the app or via text message 📱. We are always available and will respond promptly to any issues or concerns. Please note that we have a quiet period from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, during which our response may be limited, but we’ll be available to assist you the following morning ☀️.

This unit is one of four within a charming, historic property. There are a few common areas to keep in mind during your stay.

🌟 The Foyer

The foyer is a shared space available to all guests. With traditional design elements and wooden floors throughout, the house exudes historic charm. Please note that sound can travel easily, so we ask guests to tread lightly, especially in the foyer, to maintain a peaceful environment.

🌳 Patio Area

Each unit has its own designated patio area on the north side of the house. This private outdoor space is for your unit’s use alone. There is a walkway leading from your patio to the front yard; please watch your step as the surfaces may be uneven.

🚪 Front Porch

The front porch is a common area shared by all units, except for Unit A, which has its own designated deck area. This space provides a pleasant spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

🤝 Courtesy to Neighbors and Other Units

We value respect and decorum among guests. Please be considerate in all common areas, including parking on the street, passing through shared spaces, and using ‘inside voices’ while in your unit. It’s important to respect your neighboring guests for everyone’s comfort.

❄️ Window AC Units

Your unit is equipped with two window AC units, one in the dining area and another in the main bedroom. Gainesville’s climate can be hot and humid, so for optimal cooling, please keep exterior doors closed to prevent the units from freezing. You can control the temperature with the power buttons on each unit as needed.

🪜 Stairs and Safety

The property includes stairs that may be necessary to access certain areas or units. We encourage all guests to exercise caution when using the stairs to prevent tripping or falling. Please take your time, especially if carrying luggage or other items. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable stay!
