A cozy king bedroom designed for deep, restful sleep. Step out onto the balcony and take in peaceful wooded views. Kkeep an eye out for hummingbirds and deer. Full bathroom with tub/shower and plush towels included.

Ideal central location near the wine trail and close to Giant City State Park. Very comfortable bed and plenty of space. Communication with host went very well. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing trip away in Southern Illinois!

Great location in southern Illinois. Close to wineries, Giant City State Park, the SIU campus and great shopping in Anna. The cabin was very nice with a unique setup but loved it and the deck to have coffee on in the morning listening to the birds. This is not a place for someone adverse to stairs but other than that it is perfect!

Comfortable little retreat

It is a comfortable three story apartment. Everything was clean and set up nicely. I especially enjoyed how close it was to giant city State Park. It was easy for us to explore the park and come back home. I would recommend this to family and friends.

The location of the place was centrally located for the wineries we wanted to visit. It was super clean & tye host was great to answer any questions we had. It was a very private retreat & we would definitely stay there again. And the bed was super comfy.

Born and raised in southern Illinois, I've been blessed to have been able to enjoy our region's charm and unique adventures for over 40 years I'm especially excited to be able to share these experiences with my two young sons. Hiking, horseback riding, fishing, zip lining and more. We absolutely love southern Illinois and all that it has to offer.

I have been working within the tourism industry since 2005. After beginning, what I thought was a seasonal job at a local winery, I fell in love with the Shawnee Hills wine industry and the rest is history. Over the last 19 years, I have helped with a variety of events to help promote and showcase the region to guests.

I'm the marketing and event director for Blue Sky Vineyard, the executive director for the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail and serve as the president of the board of directors for the Southernmost Illinois Tourism Bureau.

A proud supporter of all things local, I can't wait to share what makes southern Illinois so special.

The back patio serves as a tranquil space, surrounded by trees that creates a serene atmosphere conducive to relaxation or social interaction. Our wine country suites offer the perfect balance between private sanctuary and communal enjoyment.
