Spacious 2 BR, 1 1/2 baths, with hot tub, pool table, large full kitchen and outside room. The "outside room" invites you to relax under the twin maple trees and enjoy the hot tub, rocking chairs and porch swing in the trees, with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. This property is a duplex, completely private with the 2 bedrooms and full bath located on the second floor, providing more privacy away from the main living space. The outside room with hot tub is completely enclosed with a privacy fence and is totally private and exclusive to this side of the duplex. There are no shared spaces except the parking. Just 11 minutes to nearest winery and only 20 minutes to Cedar Lake, 20 minutes to Cache River, 20 minutes to Giant City State Park and close to many wineries, this cozy home is the perfect retreat to come back to after a day of exploring the beautiful Shawnee Hills.

Attended a wedding in the area. The host was very accommodating with our check in. Everything was very clean, beautiful home. Patio area was relaxing. Host left detailed instructions on all amenities.

Very nice, comfortable home and we enjoyed playing pool in the evenings. We didn't have a chance to try out the hot tub but the back deck area would have been a nice place to hang out if we had stayed there longer. It was a convenient place to stay while checking out Shawnee National Forest and Big City State Park.

So relaxing!

This was a great place in the middle of beautiful hiking trails and lots of nature to explore! Kathy is an excellent host who has clearly thought of everything her guests may need or want. Family pool games were a highlight!

A nice little getaway

The property is beautiful and we spent our nights on the back patio. It is located close to things you would need. Check in and out was easy peasy 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing place for Southern Illinois Fun!

My friend and I booked this place as a getaway for the weekend. It was perfect! The pictures do not do it justice. Kathy has thought of everything to make staying here amazing. There are numerous places to relax - outdoor patio, dining area that includes a sitting area with beautiful views of the patio, multiple seating in living room and kitchen areas, and a pub top table with stools in the pool table area. Everything was super clean and well organized. The beds and linens were comfortable. Having a half bath was a perk. The location allowed us quick access to local wineries and hiking. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, even a blender! I hope we can book this again.

Anna Weekend

Went to Anna with my mom, mother in law and daughter to visit wineries. Duplex was as promised. Very clean and very well stocked with supplies. Had a great weekend stay and would highly recommend this cute place. The owner was very easy to get a hold of and answered any questions I had.

Absolutely stunning!

My fiancé and I stayed her for the weekend and absolutely loved it! It was very clean, lots of resources and was located in a quiet spot. Communication was great and just over 5 star!
