Gated mountain community in Dahlonega with paved roads and mountain views. Minutes from Dahlonega town square, at least 10 wineries, hiking, mountain biking, tubing, fishing and more!

There are some stairs to Eagle's Nest, but the view is worth it!
This is serenity at its best. This beautiful carriage house sits on 2+acres with a relaxing pond bordering the property. See wildlife right outside your front door and a million stars at night!

The Space:
You will have the full carriage house to yourself! Beautiful cabin / carriage house above the detached 2 car garage. Just added an electric fireplace for ambiance and warmth. Private deck with seating, peaceful view and wooded surroundings.

Guest Access:
Private access up the stairs with an electronic lock and your own private lock code.

The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is a beautiful, quiet gated neighborhood with paved roads and community pavilion on the pond to use if you'd like. All roads are paved and very well maintained. This is a small neighborhood of only 24 homes in a very wooded environment so you will most likely not see any other homes, except in the winter when the leaves have all fallen. Cabin is only 10-15 min to a super Walmart and the downtown Dahlonega square with shops and restaurants.

Eagles Nest is a beautiful, cozy place to stay. I spent a long solo weekend in Dahlonega and was very glad that I chose this property. It felt private but not secluded, so I always felt safe. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Would love to go back again.

Beautiful Place

First off, the owners are great . They were very informative on information for places to eat , hikes to take . They responded very quickly on any questions. The place is beautiful and was perfect space for me and my husband . The view from the top of the steps and patio is just beautiful . We would stay again

I had a very pleasant stay for a much needed getaway where I could be surrounded by tranquil nature and unwind…the cabin was very well appointed! The owners were meticulous with attention to detail in that everything needed was available for your comfort and convenience. The home and neighborhood was exceptionally clean and secure. Also, nearby attractions were accessible. The owners ensured a highly satisfactory experience with their courtesy and great communication. Will highly recommend and return for future stays!

Heidi and I love to travel. We have been vacationing to the north Georgia mountains for years with our family. We felt it was the right time to invest in some properties of our own, enjoy them with family and friends, and share with like minded travelers. We love it here and know that you will too!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This is such a beautiful neighborhood. There are only about 24 homes in this gated upscale mountain community. The roads are paved and hilly, there is a beautiful pond and totally surrounded by forest as well as bordering the national forest. It is peaceful and quiet but also close to the Dahlonega downtown square, tons of outdoor activities and really great local restaurants, breweries and wineries.

What makes Eagles Nest unique is its surroundings. Most of the homes we have vacationed in over the years are not very secluded or private. This one is but yet in a gated neighborhood and close to everything. I guess we should say secluded but NOT remote.
