Experience El Cerrito like a local in this 4-bedroom house. This gorgeous property features 2 queen beds, 1 twin bed, and 1 futon, perfect for families or groups of friends. With amenities like AC, a washing machine, dryer and WiFi, guests can relax and unwind in this serene space. The 2 bathrooms provide convenience for all. We hope you'll enjoy your stay at our house.
We are minutes from public transportation, 45 minutes from Napa, 12 miles from San Francisco, 6 miles from UC Berkeley. Relax in the well appointed living room and watch the sunset behind Mt. Tamalpais. The house also features a small fitness area that includes a treadmill, light weights and some yoga equipment.
There are three smart TVs that include complementary Netflix. The home features central heating and air conditioning. High speed Wi-Fi is available and the smart home will turn lights on and off at your command. There is a large backyard with a Conversations pit.
The house is handicap accessible with a concrete wheelchair ramp around back. There is one step up though to get into the backyard. The house is also accessible by wheelchair through the driveway door, but once you are in there are stairs up to the main house.
The house was fully remodeled inside and out in March 2024. Everything is brand new.

I recently retired and enjoy traveling the world. I love my home and think others will love it too. So while Iâm traveling I thought I would make it available for others.
Voici pourquoi lâhĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement
My neighbor is lovely. The house is in the hills which is a desirable area in the East Bay. There are views of Mount Tamalpais and some of the Bay from the living room. From my street (not from my windows) you can see the Golden Gate bridge. Iâm close to everything. I am far enough away from Berkeley to be away from the congestion of a city, but close enough to make it easily accessible if you are working there or attending functions. Iâm close to public transportation, and close to San Francisco, Napa, and other attractions in the bay area. There is a school across the street that sometimes gets noisy with kids playing. Other than that itâs a quiet neighborhood. There is plenty of parking on the street and there is a driveway. The backyard is spacious and fully fenced in with privacy fencing.

My house is unique in the area as it has central air and central heating which is not common around here since we live in a temperate climate. The house is powered by solar panels. It has handicap accessible entrances around the back (except for one step up to the backyard). I have a gardener that comes every Tuesday to keep the yard clean and nicely landscaped. The house also comes with Alexa who will turn the lights on and off for you simply by asking her. She is hooked up to the Internet so you can ask her questions, you could set timers in the kitchen and you can set reminders for yourself.
