Media Luna est située dans le golfe du Mexique. Cette fabuleuse maison possÚde des portes coulissantes en verre de plus de 30 mÚtres donnant sur le golfe. Elle offre de magnifiques couchers de soleil, une eau cristalline pour la plongée en apnée et des arbres éclairés. La maison offre une vue sur l'horizon depuis chaque piÚce et se trouve du cÎté coucher de soleil sur l'ßle. Un bassin de bateau privé et un quai entourés d'une digue de pont s'étendent dans le golfe, offrant un cadre idéal pour les cocktails au café ou au coucher du soleil. Conçue pour la vie décontractée, cette maison en forme de demi-lune a des plafonds avec poutres de cyprÚs, une climatisation centrale à 3 zones, 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain complÚtes, un grand salon avec plusieurs siÚges, une cuisine entiÚrement équipée, le linge de maison fourni, une buanderie et joint 925 s. F. salle de la Floride projetée.

La chambre principale à une extrémité de la maison a un lit king-size et une salle de bain privée. Les deux autres chambres ont chacune un lit queen et deux lits jumeaux. Il y a quatre téléviseurs, DVD. Comcast Internet, téléphone et télévision. Les services publics et le linge de maison sont inclus. Cuisine bien équipée, y compris verres à pied pour le vin et les cocktails en soirée

Views were beautiful, but that was it! Bathroom sink faucet was defective, no hot water, we reported it on the first day, but was not fixed until Thursday (2 days before we left) Since it got colder on Tuesday this was extremely upsetting.The house is old and very dated! I can live with that! However certain parts of the house were extremely dirty, especially the kitchen which is very troubling since one might want to prepare food. Kitchen cabinet drawers had dirt on them that must have been on there for God only knows how long. I tried to wipe them down and wasn’t able to, everything was so stuck on, disgusting!!Both medicine cabinets had dirt in them especially the guest bathroom! Grill outside is completely rusted out, inside and out! The outside is very neglected, a lot of trash laying around. The benches on the seawall have rotted wood and feel spongy. We contacted the host (owner) about the condition of the inside (kitchen, bathroom and grill along with pictures ) and her only comment was she would let the cleaners know. She never offered to send somebody over to clean . We asked for a partial refund which she denied. We reported everything to VRBO along with proof (pictures) awaiting response and hopefully resolution.

We loved waking up to the water and walking and biking in the quiet neighborhood. I had to do some maintenance on both bikes to make them usable (flat tires on both). Plenty of towels, gorgeous views, spacious, so convenient to Bahia Honda State Park. We loved our visits to the Sea Turtle Hospital and Crane Point. All in all, a wonderful vacation!

Upon our arrival we were disappointed to find that the house was not cleaned from the last people who stayed. Although that was upsetting considering we have been driving for two and a half days to get here... we contacted the host and she quickly sent someone over to clean and gave us a partial refund which was appreciated. We went on to continue our stay and everything was good despite the occasional foul smell from the backwash of the ocean which came and went. This cannot be helped, it is just the way it is, but something to consider. We enjoyed the rest our stay, and the weather was super beautiful!

Everything you could want in a vacation rental and more! Kitchen was fully equipped - great that it had an ice maker. No need to bring beach towels or chairs, both are provided by owner. The location is perfect - right on the water with stores and restaurants nearby. Other than one day the weather was not good for fishing - high winds and surf - however, our first full day we saw lots of fish including a stingray and shark. My husband caught a puffer fish. We thought he was dead because he floated on his back when we threw him back in, but to our relief he blew out all the air and swam away. We would consider renting again if in the area.

The house was very nice. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and everything was overall very nice. The views were absolutely to die for and the neighborhood was very quiet and nice. We didnt feel crowded as grown children going our parents. We loved the back porch and the lagoon was so serene. We loved snorkeling around the seawall and in the lagoon. We spent more time at this place than we have at any rental we've gotten before. Ive added this to my list of possible places to stay again.

Don’t stay here if you actually want to be on vacation

The property was ok. It’s old.The property manager is ungrateful and has forgotten what customer service is. We were nitpicked and given a list of chores that a housecleaning service should be responsible for, after the fact. We called about raw sewage leaking from the walls in the master bedroom due to a stoppage and we were given the runaround that someone from the City was coming to inspect and that it was the day before the Fourth of July. We were then later blamed for the stoppage when the host stated the plumbers had been there the week before. So, obviously this is an ongoing issue, not our fault. The dishwasher was full and running upon departure. The trash was overflowing when we arrived. You can’t load all of the bedding, that you slept on the night before, into the washing machine at one time. So, while there may have been sheets that weren’t washed, it was because the washer was already full and running. The beds were stripped and laundry left by the washer. With the strict 10am departure time, we would’ve had to get up at 4 am to have the entire list completed, which is insane. Not concerned when we were cleaning raw sewage water that was seeping through the walls. Health department violation. Fungus flies. House needs to be updated. Does have a nice view but not worth it having to deal with person who cares nothing about the quality of your stay but, bottom line only. Needs to hire a maid. Too many unreasonable demands. Don’t waste time or money.

Great Time

The property was very comfotable and accomodating. The check-in process was simple and efficient. This property has great amenities to make the stay comfortable, relaxing, and fun. The house was very clean and just had the feel of a beach house especially with the water views and the spectacular sunsets. We has a great time fishing and lounging in the tidal pool. Would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing time on the water.

A great house at a fantastic location but...

Only one drawback. The property has not seen a stitch of groundskeeping in who knows how long? Walking out the back door or around the sides of the house and having to walk through piles of dead leaves, sticks, and around piled up ladders and too many garbage cans was a bummer. Not to mention leftover fish hooks and debris from previous guests on the breakwall.

Fabulous location on the Gulf

Two couples spent here fishing and relaxing. The house is exactly as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. Bath towels were new and there were plenty of extra towels and blankets available. Seating in the den was comfortable. We enjoyed the screened in porch and saw nice sunsets. We had a 22 ft boat that was easy to maneuver in and out of the cove. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this house.

Great sunset views over the gulf

Property was cozy. George and Mary added nice touches to make for a homey stay. Kitchen has anything you could possibly need. Was intrigued by all the sea life in their pooled in area. Crabs, jellyfish, zebra fish, and many more. The Dolphins swam within 50 feet of their seawall. Very relaxing stay

Great waterfront place for a larger party

Although it was just my wife and I, we really enjoyed the large space, waterfront location, and the many additional items to make a Keys stay enjoyable. The boat basin and dock, many outdoor chairs, screened in porch, and well appointed inside. We stayed here about 30 years ago, and when I saw it available, we had to stay there again.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

A breathtaking view from every bedroom and the living space along with a large screened in porch with plenty of seating really take advantage of the open water views. A covered carport keeps the car cool on a hot day as does all 3 of the well maintained air conditioners. The only private seawall in Marathon offers perfect protection for boats and a great place to rest and relax as well as outstanding snorkeling a few steps from the home. Picture worthy sunsets are always worth celebrating!
