This is a roomy place for any vacation rental you'll find in NYC and I give it five stars almost all the way across the board. The price was also pretty reasonable.Pros: the property is located on a lovely, tree-lined street across from one of the many stunning NYC public parks. The rooms are comfortable and when you stay here, you get the feel of living like a local - I lived in BKLYN for several years and speak from experience. Some others who reviewed complained about the check-in app, but I had no problems with it, and the owners were super accessible when I had questions. The local culture is incredible - something most visitors to NY don't get to see when they stay in hotels in midtown. Also, if you want to shop like a local, stop into one of the stores located near the MTA station. The cons: as others stated in their reviews, you might smell cigarette smoke on occasion from upstairs - the unit is located in a two-family house which apparently has cross-ventilation. I stayed over a weekend and was awoken on Sunday morning at 7 by a toddler running around crying upstairs, and someone was running a vacuum up there by 8. The MTA trains are not super close - I'd say it's a 10-15 minute walk, but there are MTA bus routes along the way and transfers are free.Overall, I would stay here again.
