Absolutely perfect accommodations for six adults, two children and a dog. Great location, and loads of charm. Would 100% stay here again.

Wonderfully Charming Property

Wonderfully charming property! Great for our large family. While we did not bring our dogs, the property has fabulous accommodations for dogs. Exceptional experience in all facets!

Sister Vacation

My two sisters and I stayed here during our annual sister vacation. It was the perfect location for us. We wanted to go to several different attractions in the area and this house was centrally located. The house itself was amazing. Beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked. It is located in a smaller community so it was nice and quiet.The local restaurants and staff were great!We would definitely stay again.

Holiday House may be a repeat stay

It's all the little touches that make thos home a lovely stay. Beautifully appointed spaces. Comfortable beds. Thick towels. Kitchen and coffee bar for all your needs. Could not recommend more highly.

We had a wonderful stay! Check-in and out was easy. The home was beautiful and had all the amenities. Many pet friendly houses smell, but this house did not and was very clean. The bedroom with bunkbed has a twin trundle below. It was great to have coffee provided! We enjoyed the fan on the back porch deck as we sat around the outside table with family every night. Great location that’s an easy walk into downtown. Highly recommend!!

This house is beautiful. Me and my family stayed there for my sons wedding. It was perfect. Everyone loved it. It has great vibes. My one year old granddaughter hasnt slept all night for a month, and she slept 10 hours 2 bights in a row.

Holiday House Mount Vernon, Iowa

This house is amazing and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The house is beautifully decorated with massive amounts of room to enjoy. The fenced in yard is amazing and the deck was a wonderful place to hangout and visit. The 2 dog kennels inside are unbelievable and our 2 French Bull dogs loved just getting in them on their own and napping. You definitely will not be disappointed with this Amazing Rental!

Beautiful home with charm

Beautiful decorated historic home with plenty of space for the family. Check in was a breeze, owner was extremely responsive with any questions and overall a very enjoyable visit. Layout is 4 beds upstairs with 1 bath and 1 full bath downstairs. Cute little sunroom coffee room off master bedroom. Coffee drinkers delight.

Beautiful family getaway

Great house with plenty of space for an extended family (3 generations)to spread out. The kitchen has everything you need for food prep and the spacious dining room made family meals easy. The coffee bar is an added bonus. Nice bathrooms, quality towels and linens. Bedrooms were lovely and slept well. The master and one other bedroom have TVs, and there are two other TVs on the main floor. Check in was effortless and the host is very responsive. We really enjoyed exploring Mt. Vernon's main Street. Highly recommend the Holiday House.
