A childless night in Buffalo

Wife and I had a night away from the kids for a show we were seeing. Everything was great. Very clean, easy to check in and out. Location was great. Zero complaints.

The address on Expedia was different from the actual building address but the pictures/number of bedrooms etc was accurate! We appreciated the quick response time from the host and cleanliness of the house.

The property is clean and well furnished. Since it was an older home, at night, it was a bit warm for our liking when sleeping. If we had opened a window it most likely would have been better for us, but a fan in the room would have been nice. We liked the coziness of the living room, where the family congregated including our pup on the rug. The neighborhood is great (the nice lady next door will pop her head out the window at let you know your dog cannot potty on her yard-which was funny). The owner was great to work with, and extremely communicative and responsive to our questions. I would stay here again for our next visit to Buffalo.

Controlling and Loud host

Host has different address listed on vrbo than actual address which is sketchy. Host said we could have a small get together board game night before I booked but when the night came he was acting erratic. He would NOT stop stomping the whole night. THIS IS NOT A FULL HOUSE HE LIVES UPSTAIRS!!!!! He also had pictures of himself everywhere in the house and it felt like he lived there which was very creepy. He also complained we were too loud when we were just talking in the house so DO NOT get this house if you don’t go to sleep early because he expects it to be completely silent.

Hi April, I really recommend you review house rules the next time you are booking a short term rental. Your reservation said you were booking for two adults but it turned out you were hosting what seemed to be a college party at a house that is marked as a quiet one in a residential neighborhood. This is absolutely not ok. At some point of the night you had about 20 people in the house playing really loud music. This is in complete violation of the rental agreement. Despite multiple friendly reminders to keep noise down, your party seemed to continue. I also didn’t want to kick you out in the middle of the night and allowed you to check out late the next day. Note that normally, your reservation could be cancelled in the middle of it when you severely violate the rules like you did. I have absolutely no issue with you, it’s just you booked the wrong location for your event. Next time really look at the house rules in greater detail. I hope you have a great weekend ahead!
