Just 2.9 mi from downtown Blowing Rock, On the Rocks is a short drive to great restaurants, shopping, and Appalachian State. Perfect for couples or a small family, this condo offers a bedroom with king bed, full kitchen, private bath, and sleeper sofa. Other conveniences include a gas fireplace, Golden Tee arcade, automatic shades, and unlimited wifi.

Located directly off of 321, the convenience of the views at On the Rocks can’t be beat!

Just five minutes to downtown Blowing Rock, ten to Tweetsie, and fifteen minutes to downtown Boone, you’re a short drive to many of the area’s amazing attractions. It truly is a retreat to enjoy between your mountain adventures!

The door to the unit is on the main level in the middle of the building. Walk into the welcoming entry with closet and take the stairs up to the kitchen, living, balcony, bedroom and bathroom! Everything is located on the same level.

Myself and my fiancé had a great stay. The location is great with amazing views, the cabin was very nice and cozy. Was a huge plus we got to bring our dog along as well. We will definitely be staying again in the summer time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Josh's place! It was easy to check-in, located conveniently near Blowing Rock and not too far from other areas we traveled too, including Boone and Banner Elk for day trips, and was perfect for my fiance and I for a quick weekend getaway. The view is incredible and we would love to stay again soon!

Long weekend getaway

The property had amazing Mountain Views, was well kept and very clean, had all basic amenities, and was in a great location. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

Perfect Short Get-Away!

It was wonderful! Everything was perfect. The view was magical and watching the deer from the balcony was so peaceful! We hope to be back in the Fall. So close to Blowing Rock where we spent most of our time.

Breathtaking views

This place is amazing. We were fortunate to stay during a snow event, and the host was super accommodating so we could check in early to arrive safely. Very convenient to Blowing Rock and the property had all the little touches we needed. We hope to stay here again.

Getaway with a view

Great condo with an amazing view of the mountains. Great automated awning over the porch. Amenities were great. Communication was prompt and thorough. Easy 6 minute drive into Blowing Rock. Quiet community. Decor was nice, gas fireplace added ambiance.

Great Location For Exploring Blowing Rock

We enjoyed staying here while visiting the high country. It was easy to access Blowing Rock and Boone from this location. The property was perfect for two people and their dogs. We even enjoyed chatting with the neighbors who were outside with their dog, too.Josh was very responsive and answered any questions. My favorite part of the stay was having coffee on the deck while looking out at the mountains.

Spectacular view, great getaway for a couple

Listing is 100% accurate. Host provides solid, timely info. And the VIEW/Balcony (& awning) were AMAZING. Comfy bed, plenty of blankets/pillows. Really a top notch place...Clean, except for dust bunnies under the bed, and the towel situation was mediocre: only 1 hand towel and the bath "towels" were small and thin and only one each. Still 5 stars because everything else was great, and that view alone is worth the price of admission. We'll be back.
