Quiet, Romantic, Montecito Retreat

Dear Cynthia, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your experience at our cottage. While we are open to our guests’ feedback, we want you to know that you are the first one to voice these concerns. While we take all of them seriously, a few points need clarification. 1. Regarding privacy, our house is approximately 100 feet from the cottage and a large bougainvillea bush separates us making it very difficult to see into each others’ space. Our past guests have told us that the quiet and privacy was one of the things they love about the cottage. 2. There is a small room that is an artist studio that we keep locked. Per our description, the remaining 700 sq. feet includes the living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. 3. A comfortable bed is a top priority of ours and reading your description of it as “lumpy” was very surprising. I have asked our current guests and they like previous guest are happy with our accommodations. We regret that we were not able to meet yours. 4. As per our amenities, the only one we buy from Costco is their Kirkland toilet paper. If you Google it, you will see that it is 2-ply, not singly ply. There should have been a box of tissue in the bedroom. If there wasn’t one, that was our oversight. Again, thank you for your comments. We recognize that different people have various standards and yours may vary from those of other guests. However, all of our guests comments help us stay on top of making our facility a positive one for our guests.
