Charming 3-BR, 2-BA ranch home perfect for your visit to the Ark Encounter (15 mins away)! Comfortably sleeps 6 with a modern kitchen, private fenced backyard, and a cozy stone fire pit. Enjoy the peace of a quiet, dead-end street while being minutes from shopping and dining. Ideal for families and groups seeking a convenient and relaxing stay.

Welcome to The Cozy Encounter, your home away from home! This charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom ranch-style house is designed for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Master Suite: Queen bed with a luxurious walk-in tile shower.
Bedroom 2: Queen bed.
Bedroom 3: Two twin beds.

AMENITIES:
In-unit washer and dryer for your convenience.
High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the home.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
Wooden deck leading to a large, grassy backyard.
New wooden privacy fence for seclusion.

Stone fire pit for memorable evenings (firewood not provided). Firewood can be provided for extra fee.

Guests will have complete and exclusive access to the entire home, including all three bedrooms, two bathrooms, the kitchen, and living areas. You will also have private access to the front and back yards, including the deck and fire pit.

Convenient self check-in is available via a secure keypad, and there is ample parking available on the property.

We believe in giving our guests complete privacy to enjoy their stay. We will not be present at the property, but we are always available via the app or phone if you have any questions or need assistance during your visit. Your comfort is our priority.

Essentials Provided: We supply fresh linens, towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, and trash bags for your stay.

Fire Pit: You are welcome to use the stone fire pit. Please note that firewood is not provided but can be easily purchased at local gas stations or grocery stores.
Security: For your safety and the security of the property, exterior security cameras are located on the premises. These cameras monitor the exterior of the home only and do not infringe on guest privacy.

Woven fence has been removed and replaced with wood privacy fence around permitter of property.

Communication with the host was smooth and timely from start to finish, which made the whole process easy and stress-free. The house itself was very clean and well-maintained, and everything was just as described in the listing. It felt comfortable and welcoming, and we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would happily stay here again.

Perfect location for visiting the Ark. Easy 15 minute drive to the Ark. Located 5–7 minutes from Walmart and all the restaurants. Very quiet neighborhood
perfect for a family to stay. Nice yard fenced around the back if you need to let the kids out to play for a little bit. Clean on the inside. Plenty of towels.

The home was very nice to stay in. Needed some directions on how to operate the TV. Couldn't locate the local channels. Only draw back was the trains that went by numerous times day and night and blew there whistles.

My wife and I along with my sister and her husband spent the week here. We visited the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum and the 40 Days of music. It was a blessed time and will definitely do it again!! The house had everything we needed and was a wonderful place for all of us to stay. Awesome eating places near by and the local people were so nice and friendly! We will definitely be back!

ARK Or Bust!

The location worked great for our visit to the ARK and zip up the Interstate to the Creation Museum. There was plenty of room, and everything was clean and updated.

We've had a good family reunion and the only regrets was that it was too short. Thank you for facilitating that. We loved the large island. As a suggestion, some condiments would come very handy in the kitchen.

We came into town to check out the Ark Encounter (be prepared for long lines!). The house was great! Good location, clean and the owner was very communicative. I believe they live right next door.

Our stay at the cozy encounter was perfect for our situation of 2 families with 2 kids.For light sleepers they have white noise machines which worked great to tune out the trains and babies!

Minutes from the ark

We had a great time with our family and grandchildren. The house was perfect for a family of our size (4 adults, 2 grandchildren and a 7 month old grandchild.) We all enjoyed the kitchen and island combo for meals together. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Stay at Dry Ridge, Kentucky

Stay could be more enjoyable with the addition of few amenities. The Coffee maker was 15 years old, with no instructions and not cleaned from previous use. Plus an older individual coffee cup device that looks horrible. Internal maintenance is required, ie, caulking, painting, and wall chips. Removal of linens is ludicrous and instructions to place used towels in a non-existent laundry basket . A fee was added for cleaning to take care of most of these items. A strange instruction was written on guest arrival info to contact host if any concerns are noted, but no number was given to call and host response was delayed by hours. The power went out in the house for several hours, but notice was unavailable.Overall, this property was graded a ‘C’ by me because of a frugal effort to lower their cost at the expense of the guests. The obvious lack of amenities and repairs is indicative of a host trying to save money and enjoy the fruits of guests looking for a place to stay in the beautiful state of Kentucky. My recommendation would be to do necessary internal maintenance, provide some additional amenities, and remove the only provided item in the cabinet which is someone’s used ibuprofen. Additionally when someone is traveling from miles away and leaving their home , it would be nice to receive information about the property before having to inquire. Two days before stay is unacceptable IMHO.But my grands did enjoy the dog next door and looked forward to seeing each day. Regards
