Great location if visiting plantations. Beds were very comfortable, AC cooled well, 3 bathrooms were a big plus, and nice shades on all the windows. Close to main road, but barely heard any traffic noise. Felt safe for a stay with family.

Very clean home and the host is very responsive. We had a minor blip at the beginning but it was resolved quickly. The house is very well located and not far from many of the restaurants and activities in the area. We have stayed here 5 or 6 times and have been very satisfied with the location and with Ric, the host.

Everything we needed for a long weekend visiting family for Easter. Comfortable beds, 3 full bathrooms is clutch when traveling with 5 teenagers! Plenty of space in main living area for all. Great place…likely to become our go-to since it’s so close to our family in Summerville.

It's a very nice house and this is the 4th time we have stayed. A small glitch at check-in but Ric took care of it quickly. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are nice, especially what appears to be a tankless water heater supplying constant hot water

Super clean, fresh with nice size rooms. Would definitely stay again! It was especially great for one of the members that was in a wheelchair. Love the minimalist styling and roominess. I agree about blinds but it added to the styling.

The home was great and comfortable. We appreciated Ric. I do want to mention no drapes on the large living room window or glass back door could be a safety issue for future guests, we were able to drape a light covering on the front window for nighttime privacy so it didn’t diminish our time there. Would definitely come here again!

Upon arrival, the home had not been cleaned. I contacted the host and cleaners came to clean and refresh the linens. I expected the host to offer some kind of monetary compensation for the mishap. Nothing was offered. Upon asking for one, they reluctantly offered a 50 credit.Other than than that, the house itself was nice and matched the listing.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that the property was not cleaned prior to your arrival. As soon as we were notified, we immediately dispatched our cleaning team and the issue was fully resolved within approximately one hour. During our communications, you requested a full night's refund. At that time, we explained that we were not prepared to offer a full night's refund for an issue that was corrected promptly (within one hour), but asked that you contact us the following day so we could discuss the matter and determine a fair resolution. We never received that call. As a gesture of goodwill, we later offered a credit, but did not receive any further communication regarding the matter. We would also note that another member of your party used profanity during communications with us, making it difficult to have a productive discussion regarding a resolution. We appreciate your acknowledgment that the home itself was nice and accurately represented in the listing. While we regret the initial cleaning oversight, we acted immediately to correct the issue and believe our response demonstrated our commitment to guest satisfaction. This home has hosted many satisfied guests and has received numerous positive reviews over the years. We encourage future guests to consider our long history of positive experiences and our commitment to addressing any unexpected issues promptly and professionally.

As in my previous reviews, we thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. It has everything we need and is closse to stores to get anything extra that you may need.

Very nice house and quiet neighborhood

The house is as advertised, with a large back yard. For how close it is to a heavily traveled road, it is surprisingly quiet. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. Looking forward to staying here again.

This is the second time we have stayed and enjoyed it just as much as the first. The house is well-appointed and is in a small neighborhood. The house has always been clean and exactly as advertised. We will be back again

I LOVED this rental!!! Very spacious, quiet but friendly neighborhood! A lot of stores and gas stations close to this rental. The house was clean, even though we did not cook, the kitchen had everything we would have needed. The ONLY CON: there are no USB outlets so bring your charging block.That’s a minor issue, we are spoiled…lol

Family comfort in Summerville SC

A family of 6 adults. We loved the newly refurbished home. Plenty of space, comfy beds and large showers. We didn’t cook but did use the Keurig coffee maker. Loved the large screen tv for watching Football. Very comfortable home and owner was great to work with. Walmart neighborhood market nearby and Loved Charleston Bakery & Deli. Thanks

Great property…great location…great host

Property was in a great location and recently renovated and it shows everything was fabulous…all 4 bedrooms were a great size with 2 primary suites. Our only concern that was quickly resolved by the host was a complete lack of any window coverings in the main living room, literally we were on full display at night. After reaching out on our first day expressing a safety concern the issue was resolved with curtains being installed the next day. I would also recommend more private window coverings for the bedroom windows but overall MUCH BETTER!!

Great place except for privacy

The house was fantastic. It was very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. There was trash in the front yard, though possibly left by someone in the neighborhood. Neighbors were friendly. The yard needed to be mowed in front and back. There were outside string lights in the back and we could not figure out how to turn them off at night. The large front window of the house facing the front street of the neighborhood had no shades or curtains so everyone could see in. The shades on all the bedrooms were slat bambo and provided no privacy., durring changing clothes day or night and after dark you could see right in to all the rooms. As a retired Law Enforcement I found this to be a concerning factor. I related this to the owner. He seemed only to be concerned with his past reveiws.6 or 7 30.00 louvor blinds would fix the issue along with a set of drapes for the front to pull at night. Other than this it was a great place. Would I stay there again if those issues where corrected? Yes I would

After getting off to a rocky start, we had a great stay at Summerville Sweet Tea. This home is truly beautiful, and the photos represent it perfectly and the backyard felt like a real bonus. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay. Centrally located to everything you may need including restaurants, historic Summerville, shopping etc…I would recommend this home and would stay again in the future for sure!
