Escape to David's Fun House in picturesque Murfreesboro. With 4000 sq', 5 bedrooms & 17 beds, this home will comfortably sleep 24 people. This tremendous property is perfect for large groups. The 3 bathrooms feature tub/showers, a 6' jetted bathtub in the master bathroom, and hair dryer for added convenience. Enjoy the Pool Table, Ping Pong, Corn Hole, Large Deck, Electric Piano, Fireplace and Tankless Hot Water Heater. Swings, Playground Equipment, Tennis & Basketball Courts at the school behind the home are available to use after school hours. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings and modern amenities like Super Fast WiFi, & Central Heating & AC. Fall in love with Murfreesboro and enjoy the magic it has to offer. This home is close to I-24 & I-840 and there are lots of Restaurants, Grocery Stores, Sam's and Costco within a 5 minute drive. The photos show carpet and vinyl flooring, but the entire house has recently been upgraded to Luxury Vinyl Wood Planks. The only bedroom with carpet now is the downstairs bedroom.

Nice place with plenty of room inside and out. The pool table and ping-pong were a big hit. It was a great location for going out on walks, playing outdoor games, close to stores ect but in a quiet neighborhood. Dave was a great host. Definitely consider staying at Dave’s fun house if you are in the area.

The House was well located and had plenty of space. The large table was perfect for family dinners. The proximity to the playground was nice and the gentleman on site was very nice.

House was amazing , my only issue is I think the owner lives in the converted garage , so they wanted quiet time from 11pm-6am 
 so couldn’t play pool or ping pong with the kids late at night . So after paying almost 2600 for 3 nights , we shoukda had the house completely by ourselves , I did not know the homeowner was on property , and I don’t recall reading quiet time in my reservation , but I could be wrong maybe I just overlooked it . And the grill should be bigger , house is over 4k sq ft and sleeps up to 25 but the grill was tiny big enough to cook for 2 people . We did find another small grill on side of house so we used that to but it was just as small . But the house itself is huge and very nice and clean .. just didn’t like the quiet time and grill

Stay was fantastic. Common areas were spacious and could handle our whole group of 20. Kitchen was sufficiently equipped and the location is fantastic. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the home.

The property was great! Big enough for our group to each have their own bed plus some and the communication with the host was great. He was very accommodating to us and our group which I appreciate so much. Our biggest issue was that it looked really dirty, and there were dead bugs in the rooms. The carpet needs a good vacuum and shampoo too as it looks dirty.

Great family time

The house is roomy and very comfortable. The neighborhood was perfect. The big deck and yard that flows into the school yard provided a perfect place for the six children to be entertained..Many memories were made.

It was ok


Everything about this place was great except for the cleanliness. This property has a for sale out front and it sure does look like that on the inside. There were several bugs everywhere and we even found cockroaches in the kitchen. The bathrooms weren’t super clean also. Everything else was great from the check in process to the amount of room and everything. Would be a 5 star property if it was clean.

Subpar stay

We were not allowed to park in the driveway d/t to it is used by the “neighbors” who are renting the attached garage. The code we received was confusing because it contained the garage apartment and house codes. We were told upon checkin to remove our shoes, however the floor was old and stained. I did not feel comfortable taking my shoes off. When we entered the house was cold, thermostats were set at 55. The home was poorly maintained and run down. The furniture was dirty and there was a red stain on one of the comforters upstairs. There are 3 bathrooms, but only 2 showers. All the bathrooms were small and old. This property does provide room for large parties. There are beds everywhere. The dining room which does not have a door is set up with beds. The only part of this stay that met my expectations was the location.

Great place for a large group

Stayed here for my daughter’s wedding along with her side of the wedding party. Plenty of room for bridal shower. Convenient to stores in a nice neighborhood. Enjoyed watching the chickens next door from the back deck.

Family reunion near Nashville

Everything was great! We checked in the day after that world wide computer glitch and couldn’t get the code to get into the house from the property manager, but the owner of the home showed up within minutes to let us in. He was so kind and accommodating. The house was perfect! It was about 30 minutes from Nashville, so we did a few day trips and were still to enjoy the house. The kids loved the game room. Just a wonderful stay!

Travel ball getaway

This was a perfect space for our families traveling together for sports. The home had a very large gathering area, a great kitchen, and all the extras we could benefit from with coming and going and yet being near the parks. Not to mention the restaurants near by. Will make this the first house we look for every time we are in this part of TN for travel.

I live in the former garage converted to a bedroom and I travel to other nations frequently as a minister. I'm very quiet, but available if you need something. My entrance is on the opposite side of the home from your entrance. You will have the entire home to yourself during your stay. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to make your stay more enjoyable.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This is a great quiet neighborhood with wide streets and an elementary school right behind my home. There are Swings, Playground Equipment, a Baseball Field, Basketball and Tennis courts at the school and you can use them during any non-school hours. There are lots of Restaurants, Wal-Mart, Target, Grocery Stores, Sams, & Costco within a 5 minute drive. Also very close to I-24 and I-840. 30 minutes drive to downtown Nashville, and the Nashville Airport. 45 minutes to Opryland Hotel, The Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills Massive Shopping Center.

The house is very spacious with 4000 square feet and lots of room to spread out. The dining table will seat 14 people. The Wifi is super fast. The game room features a Pool Table, Ping Pong Table and an Exercise Machine. There is an full sized Electric Piano in the living room. There is one TV in the main living room over the fireplace and another TV in a separate living room. There are 17 beds that will sleep 24 People.
