Welcome to Beach Shanty — your cozy coastal getaway in the adorable town of Carpinteria, just 1 block from the beach and a 5-minute walk from charming downtown. Updated in June 2024 with fresh paint, new floors, and new furnishings throughout, this cheerful home is the perfect base for your Carpinteria escape. Whether you're here to relax or explore, everything you need is right at your doorstep.

The space
Bedroom (Upstairs)
The master bedroom features a king bed with soft, comfortable bedding and a flat-screen TV — perfect for a good night's sleep after a day at the beach.

Living Area
The inviting living area includes a queen-sized sleeper sofa, a brand-new twin bed, and a flat-screen TV — a cozy spot to unwind at the end of the day.

Bathroom
The updated bathroom features a fresh modern shower, new vanity, and sleek mirror.

Kitchen & Dining
The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up a meal. The dining area seats 4 — perfect for meals together.

Entertainment

Parking
A designated covered parking spot is included. To get there, enter the driveway on the far left side of the building, follow it to the back, and park in space #15, right next to the wall divider. Please do not back into the spot — the storage area above is a bit low and may damage your rear window. Need extra parking? Free street parking is available out front.

Family 4th of July trip

Annual trip to Carp for the 4th everything was excellent. The condo was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Ceilings fans were also a happy surprise.

Great location 1 short block to the beach. Really nice beach easy access no stairs. The place was decorated really cute with a beach vibe. Overall place was clean.The owner needs to do a remodel on the kitchen very dirty tile/groute needs to be replaced. Also some of the pans need to be replaced.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place and our host. The location is great - walkable to centennial park, railroad, and restaurants. Short drive to skyline and tunnel road trailhead. The space is so beautiful and comfortable. We have stayed at a lot of short term rentals, but this one stands out. The beds and linens are so cozy, and there were little personal touches around the house to make our stay extra comfortable. Truly a well hosted experience, not just a place to crash. I highly recommend!
