We really enjoyed our stay at this property-it had every comfort of home and beautiful interior design. We were so close to the Volcano and everything that the Park had to offer. We especially enjoyed seeing the night sky filled with stars from the jacuzzi and had fun playing pool! So happy we were able to enjoy this lovely spot!

This place is SO CUTE!! We come often to Volcano to to escape Honolulu and enjoy the park, and we like to stay in places that have a nice outdoor area to hang out. The pool table, bbq, tv and outside dining area was so much fun! The back yard with the hot tub was beautiful. I had questions about the kitchen and they were answered promptly. Super easy to find, unbeatable location. We are excited to book this place in the future!

Our host gave us all info necessary to check in and make ourselves at home. This is an entire 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom place with everything you need to stay there. It is very nicely decorated and the big screen TV is great. The entrance to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is just a couple of miles down the road so you could easily be in the park for awhile, go home for a bit and return for lava viewing at night. Our host communicated quickly and kept us informed of anything we needed to know.

Perfect getaway to visit the volcanoes

Our stay was wonderful and the property exceeded our expectations. Perfectly located to visit the volcanoes and Hilo town, the only regret is that we were not there longer to enjoy the home more. Communicating with Danielle was easy as she replied to my messages quickly. For anyone wanting to explore the volcanoes, or just enjoy a relaxing getaway, this is the place.

Cozy home base for visiting the volcanoes

This charming home is just a couple of miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We were able to drive up to the park in the early morning hours to see the brief 26th fountaining of Kīlauea. The house is beautifully decorated and has all amenities necessary for a very comfortable stay. My grandsons declared the beds “very comfy” and wanted to be sure that’s included in the review. We definitely recommend Pu’uwai Place

Awesome stay!

I’m afraid once my rating gets out I won’t be able to book this property again because it will be all booked out. This was a great property! It was extremely clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. This was my 1st Vrbo experience as I usually book with the competitor, but I’ll definitely book again. My only regret is that my trip wasn’t long enough! Much thanks to the property hosts.

This was an amazing location with such a great outdoor living space. From the hot tip to the pool table there was so much to do. Everything was clean and the space was decorated so well and was so welcoming.
