Warm, cozy home!

We stayed here for the long July 4th weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Super quiet residential area. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Dennis was a great host and responded to any of our inquiries very quickly. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect Location from HITS

I stayed with friends when we were attending Hits, the house was located close to the show grounds and it gave us the opportunity to host a dinner for our barn group we really enjoyed the space to relax that a hotel room does not provide. Dennis made sure we had everything we needed, and there was a nice yard space for my dog as well. We look forward to the opportunity to stay there again!

Great short stay

Four of us stayed at the house for the horse competition nearby at HITS. Close location, near show grounds & town. Property was clean, light & airy & well kept. The hot water went out a couple times but the owner was very responsive and it didn’t affect the quality of our stay. Just worth noting.

Nice, roomy house on quiet block

We enjoyed our stay. Good shower with consistent warm water for four of us and solid water pressure, decent mattresses, plenty of towels, nice couch, tv and heat worked well. My only suggestion is another roll of paper towel and some hand towels and wash cloths. The added on fees through the platform made a reasonably priced house too expensive. Thank you, Dennis!

We do not allow smoking in the house, the interior is freshly painted, and the guest never mentioned any issue during stay. No such odor exits upon inspection and cleaning. The closets have extra sheets pillows, blankets, games, and room to hang your clothes. We made sure they were cleaned after this guest. Each room has nice dressers, I noticed some kids toys a previous guest may have left in one of the dressers which have been removed. Guest never mentioned any issues during their stay. 3 queen beds 1 firm, 1 medium, 1 soft, all with nice new sheets. They never communicated any needs during stay. These were elderly folks maybe house rental is not for them. Please read other reviews to form your opinion. We look forward to hosting you and welcome any needs during your stay.

Nice place for leaf peeping

The little house in Saugerties was a perfect spot for our long weekend. It's in a great location close to Hunter Mt and several places to hike or stroll in small towns with nice shops and places to eat. The place is very clean, the beds were comfortable and it met all of our needs for our short stay. Dennis responded to all of my texts quickly and stopped by our 2nd night to make sure everything was satisfactory (he also dropped off some garbage bags in case we needed them). For the price, this is a great place to use as a base camp. The one thing I wished we had brought were hand and dish towels, but we were able to make due with the plentiful bat towels and washcloths available. If we visit again, we would choose the little house in Saugerties

Peaceful Family Reunion

We were planning for a family reunion in Woodstock and wanted to be within 10 miles of family. This property was perfect for us. It had exactly what we needed. It was clean. We slept well. The shower was hot and had perfect pressure. The property is in a quiet area that was a scenic drive for us in contrast to our flat Florida roads. We did not cook or watch TV as we brought our Switch. We had no issue setting it up. The property owner was pleasant told us that if we needed anything to let him know. We will rent again if the occasion arises.

Great little house in Saugerties

We rented this house to visit family in Saugerties for Thanksgiving. Dennis was accommodating and the house was immaculate. Lots of space in a wooded setting. Would definitely go back!

The house was very conveniently located to local attractions--nothing was much more than 20 minutes away. The house had everything we needed for our 10-day stay--everything was easily accessible and all on one floor. The owner was very helpful with advice about things to do in the area.

VERY Convenient location to HITS.

Cute small home with LOTS of amenities. Fabulous NEST Air Conditioning (we horse people are really hot after a long day). Would be 5 stars if the 3 beds were a bit more comfortable.

Clean and cozy

We had a lovely post-Christmas getaway. The house was very clean. Location is about 10 minutes away from Saugerties village and close to Thruway. Covid kept us in more than we hoped, but there were plenty of takeout options. Quiet location.

I had Thanksgiving there with my two teenage kids. The house is nice. Living room and kitchen bigger than they look in the pictures. Kitchen dining and living room all one room is nice for hanging out and cooking.

Comfy getaway

My family (4) enjoyed our stay and the area. The home is spacious enough so that everyone can gather together or be able to find some alone time. It is quiet even though it faces a road and has a large backyard with 2 separate decks to relax or BBQ. Having a washer/dryer was very helpful for our month-long stay. I
