Property and location are excellent! The space was stocked with everything you might need from salt and pepper to beach chairs and towels to toothpaste! The property was very clean. Beach. pool and parking at rental were excellent

The listing stated no hidden fees. The price was supposed to be as listed with the exception of the insurance i was forced to purchase. Not sure why these others fees were added. I understand cleaning even though it was high but the other fees I never knew about?

Jessica, We’re honestly quite confused by this review. There are no “hidden fees” associated with this booking. Every charge is clearly outlined and presented in full before any payment is completed—nothing is added afterward or without visibility. The insurance you mentioned is disclosed upfront as part of the booking process. You were not forced into anything—you made the choice to book our unit with full visibility of all terms and fees presented prior to checkout. The cleaning fee, while you noted it was high, is also clearly stated in the listing and is standard for short-term rentals. We also want to point out that during your stay, you expressed that everything was perfect. Because of that, we are a bit disappointed not to have received a 10/10 review, especially since the concerns raised here have nothing to do with the unit itself or your actual experience during the stay. We pride ourselves on transparency and accuracy in our listing, and we stand by both our pricing structure and the quality of the experience we provide. Thank you for staying with us. Michaela

Great location ! Bedroom & bath great , living space very small / tv mounted on ceiling stuck out too far & kept hitting our heads on it . Couch was awful. Cushions sunk into the bed of the couch & almost unable to sit on it . Never could get the TV volume to work even after contacting the owner

Great Location

My fiance and I stayed here from 4/29-5/4 and it was nice. We did walk in and right away got stuffy from the musty smell and the wall plug in smell they had in the cottage. Had everything we needed, and more. The place its self could have been more clean, I did feel a little dirty after a couple beetles were on the floor. I know all this comes with a rental place and that they just went through a hurricane so I was okay with most of the issues. The location was amazing, quick 3 minute walk to the beach and some restaurants. The pool was beautiful, a little warm for my liking. All in all was a good stay.

Regarding the musty smell and wall plug-in fragrance you mentioned, our team has not received any prior complaints about these issues. The plug-in fragrance is simply a measure we take to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for our guests. As for the cleanliness, our staff takes great pride in thoroughly preparing each cottage before arrival, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards. While we regret that you felt the cottage could have been cleaner, we stand by the quality of our housekeeping. The occasional presence of insects is an unavoidable reality when operating a property in a coastal environment. We do our best to mitigate these occurrences, but cannot guarantee a completely bug-free experience. As for the pool temperature, as you noted, this is something beyond our control, as it is dependent on weather conditions. We aim to maintain the pool in an inviting state, but cannot always ensure the exact temperature preference of each guest. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will consider staying with us again in the future for an even more enjoyable experience. Michaela
