You're just steps from our sugary sand beaches, restaurants and local attractions such as The Gulf State Park Fishing Pier & The Hang Out! And, just a short drive from the nature trails and bike paths. Some of the many other activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, Para-sailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, golf, outlet malls, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of sugary sand beaches.

First Visit to Gulf Shores

The location and view was outstanding. Literally steps to the beach and the view from the balcony was great. The condo had everything we needed. The only downside was the musty odor we were unable to get rid of.

Great location and view!

The condo was just what we were looking for. Close to what we needed and convenient to get around. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The beach was a two minute walk. Highly recommend.

All I Needed

The condo was perfect for me. If available I plan to stay there again. I was alone, but it was possible to sleep six. I would not recommend because it only has one bathroom and really to small. Two would be max.

Amazing view!!

We loved the balcony, the outdoor furniture, and views from up there. The beach was amazing and not a long walk from the condo. The condo had everything we needed for our week. The bed was comfortable. It’s not a “luxury” condo but it was perfect for my mom and I. We don’t travel For the indoor views anyway. It was clean enough for us. The condo unit a smaller one and we loved that. Parking was easy. Its very close To all the touristy places of Gulf Shores. We would consider staying in this unit again.

All was good except parking, A car was allowed to park sideways blocking a the only available spot. We were forced to park in owners section then got fussed at by property guy. Parking was biggest issue.

It was a decent place, but not great. The bed frame creaked, the sofa was uncomfortable, and the wi-fi never worked. The cable TV was so confusing and could hardly change the channels and find anything you may want to go back to. Room was clean overall; plenty of linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. I might stay there again, but would not be my first choice.

Great getaway

My husband and I stayed a few nights. The home overall is nice and has everything you need. The view is amazing, location is close to local attractions and good restaurants, steps from the beach. The pool looked nice but it was too cold to use while we were there. It was nice to sit outside on the balcony and listen to the waves. The dishwasher is pretty dang loud. It wasn’t a big deal to us but don’t plan on running it at night when people are trying to sleep. There was also a wet dog smell in the living room the last half of our stay. I contacted Vacasa and they let me know it had been taken care of. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this condo again!

No parking/flooded room/doors

Upon arrival, the room wasn't clean. There was sand on the floor and the bathtub. The furniture is worn out and outdated. The couch sags in the middle and needs replacing. Parking is nonexistent after 9pm, but the owners had at least 10 spaces reserved under the condominium. At 2am on our 3rd night, our unit flooded due to rain pouring in from the roof through a burst pipe in the wall behind the washing machine. There was 3 inches of water in our unit from front to back. It took multiple tries to get someone on the phone to report the flood. At 8am the next morning, Serv Pro came and put multiple fans and dehumidifiers in our unit. By 3pm, Vacasa put us in another condo down the street and refunded our last night at the Westwind.

Beautiful stay at Westwind!

The beach wasn’t too crowded
 and the view from our balcony was absolutely beautiful! We were in walking distance of a few stores, coffee shop and restaurant ! The condo was very nice and had plenty of space for us! The kitchen had everything we needed! The pool was wonderful along with the beach! I definitely recommend and will be staying here in the future!!!

Perfect for a couples getaway

We had a great weekend getaway. Perfect condo, not a bunch of units so it was quiet and relaxing. We usually stay in our camper during the summer so this was nice treat. Will be back if we take more weekend trips.
