Thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity due to it's convenient location within an easy walk of downtown and all of Bar Harbor's commercial offerings. Yet is was quiet, very generous in size with a special kitchen that enticed eating in vs. going out all the time. Loved it.

This apartment was the best for our extended family of 7 with everything we needed and a huge kitchen to cook meals just like at home. The yard is intimate and great with kids and the porch perfect to enjoy the outdoors rain or shine. We loved it and hope to be back!

Fabulous rental! Perfect for our group of 7. We loved the well appointed unit with thoughtful touches. Several folks in our party commented on the comfortable beds. We enjoyed making meals in the well equipped kitchen. The porch and fire pit were enjoyed everyday. The location is perfect. Close to every thing. We look forward to returning!

Fantastic property. The kitchen is wonderful and fully stocked to support large family cooking. Plenty of room for our family of 9 to have space to play and relax. The location in Bar Harbor can not be beat. Kay and Augusto were excellent hosts.

The kitchen was gorgeous and I loved the range. Everyone loved the living room and all the living arrangements. My fiancee and I got married in Acadia and this was such a perfect spot for the whole family. If I were to come back to bar harbor, I'd most likely stay here again.

This house is unreal…we went as a girls trip and there were 10 of us and we had more than enough room. Gorgeous house, well-stocked, perfect location and great hosts!! Would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!!

Perfect location to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia.

The house has very large living room and kitchen, plus 4 nice bedrooms. But we spent most of our time on the side porch enjoying the great weather. Easy walk anywhere you want to go in Bar Harbor.

Location can’t be beat, plenty of parking! Lots of space! Loved the outside seating too! Kitchen was well stocked! If traveling w large group or jsut want lots of space, this place can’t be beat!!!

Wonderful place, terrific experience with hosts! Spacious and comfortable home with fun school house history! So convenient, only Two blocks from Everything in town. The porch and yard and bonfire were enjoyable for our group of 9.

Perfect location. Perfect set up for our large group. We loved cooking meals and then eating all together at one table. Very comfortable beds. The large living room was perfect for our gathering.

Interesting property with terrific location

An old school being converted to VRBO... most rooms were adequate with a large family room ... character of old school house interesting but still needs a bit more work... I would book this property again after a few more years of renovation...hosts were quite accommodating and as stated, location was terrific to downtown Bar Harbor

Perfect Stay!

This beautiful home could not have been more perfect for our family! Nice bedrooms and family rooms. Perfect outdoor area. Well equipped kitchen! The proximity to downtown Bar Harbor could not be better. We walked for meals, ice cream, coffee, hikes, the land bridge at low tide. Perfect!

Great stay in Bar HarborOur group of family and friends fit well in the house. The loft has a ladder, so it works best for guests who are comfortable climbing.We liked the location. We walked to dinner, coffee, and shops. We used the grill often and enjoyed spending time relaxing outside.The kitchen was well-set up, and the large table made it easy for us to eat together. Communication with the host was smooth, and a maintenance issue was fixed quickly.We would definitely stay here again.

The best location!

This house was in walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor. The location couldn’t have been better. We walked to the free shuttle to do some swimming and hiking and walked downtown for shopping, coffee and ice cream. We were a large group of 12 and the house was plenty big enough. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for a great vacation!

Wonderful stay in Bar Harbor

Emerson House is a beautiful home with everything we needed for our week-long stay. The kitchen is huge and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the rooms private. The inside and outside living spaces were everything we needed. The location was within an easy walk to everything in Bar Harbor, including the Island Exporer stop at the Village Green. The owner was very attentive with all communication. I would highly recommend the Emerson House!
