Great location

The apartment is perfectly located. However, what sold me on it was the roof terrace and unfortunately it’s not easily accessible. Also, the place would need some tender loving care. The pictures must have been taken quite a few years ago. However, despite all that, we enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect,

Great location and it's a cozy little place perfect for 1-2 people. Communication with the host was very prompt. Just a few suggestions for those booking the place. Check your email/VRBO app for the check-in instructions while you are either en route or before arriving at the property, somewhere with good wifi and/or cell service. I didn't think to do that before we arrived at the property which caused me a bit of stress (NOT the host's fault, I should have checked!) Also, be sure you can handle 3 flights of stairs (again, not the host's fault as it's clear on the booking, just be aware if you have any mobility issues, especially if you have a large suitcase). And the shower temp control was initially difficult to manage; don't be afraid to turn the knob a bit harder than you think you may need to when adjusting the temp, especially to decrease the water temp. The hot water is VERY hot, so use caution, especially if you have younger children in your party. The host responded quickly to our question/concern about that, which was appreciated. The place is very cozy but could use a bit of TLC (cosmetically - the closet mirror in the bedroom is cracked and the bottom dresser drawer is broken). Those are minor issues. The property was VERY clean upon arrival, which is the most important thing. It was cold, so we didn't get to use the terrace but it looks very nice! You cannot beat this location, everything you may want/need is close by. It was a perfect getaway spot for Xmas.

This was a great stay. Close to the tube lines, access to tons of food, great walking distance to most everything and a wonderful view from the terrace space. I loved every moment of this and my only gripe might be a lack of understanding about how much hot water is available and how to use the washer/dryer for a dryer only setting. Everything else is great, including the instructions. Thanks Vito.

Location was great! Lots of shops and restaurants in the area and walkable to many cool neighborhoods. The tube was also a short walk away and very user friendly to get anywhere in London. The flat was perfect size for 3 adults. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was adequate to cook meals. Having the rooftop space was a bonus that we really enjoyed. Vito was quick to respond and the check in was easy. I need to mention the windows let in lots of street noise ( however it was a quiet street overnight) and the staircase leading up to the flat needed some repairs. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Vito.

Perfect, we're both in our 60's. Stairs to the apartment were a bit daunting after 12hrs of walking around London, but the apartment was perfect & the rooftop terrace was outstanding

Great location, poor flat

The code to get the keys to get into the flat was sent while I was over the Atlantic on the way to London.The flat was in a great location - near food stores, restaurants and shopping.The flat was not as I had anticipated from the listing. The steps up to the roof garden are narrow and turn 90 degrees and have no handrail. You have to push the skylight hatch up in order to open it, and then carefully close it. If you lost your balance on the steps, you would have fallen to the floor. The washing machine was on the roof, which it was unsafe for me to get to, so the owner agreed to reimburse me for going to a local laundry.The wall in the shower appeared to be plastic over damaged plaster, and the shower "guard" swung outward: if you lost your balance, you would have fallen into the narrow space between the tub and the countertop as there was nothing to grasp. Figuring out how to use the stove was a true challenge each time it was used.The landing on the second floor was so soft that the person staying in that flat and I both felt that it might collapse.

Had a great time! The location is perfect - walking distance to tube, grocery store, Regent’s Park

sunshine in paradise

The appartment is small but comfortable. The bed is fantastic. The weather was so good at the end of october that we could sit on the roofterrace till midnight. In the centre of one of the nicest area's of Londen to be able to have a chance to do that is super. Close to shoppingarea like Oxford street and an uncountable amount of restaurants.

This apartment three storeys above central Marylebone has great views (and a rooftop) and while compact, has everything one needs. It is cosy, comfortable, clean and light.

Great spot

We spent 4 nights here - wife, 6 year old child. The apartment was great, good communication with the owner. So thankful for the fans provided because it was HOT that week in London (33C), without the fans we couldn't have slept at night. The rooftop is a great place for a glass of wine in the evening or coffee in the morning. Very convenient location, we would return.
