*About the Home*

Our bright, spacious cabin, designed by us, sits back on 5+ private acres in the Catskills, perfectly located between Hunter and Windham.

Floor-to-ceiling South-facing windows line this double-height cabin, framing gorgeous sunrises, sunsets, and seasonal mountain views. The cabin manages to feel peaceful and secluded in nature while also being super close to skiing, shopping, and other activities.

Climate Control
- Most of the home is open-concept (kitchen, living room, partially enclosed loft) and climate-controlled by a mini-split
- Loft and main bedroom both contain fans with winter settings and summer settings
- Bathrooms have their own heated floors
- Main bedroom also has its own radiant heater

*Catskills Notes to Be Aware Of*
- Winding driveway is plowed when 3+ inches of snow accumulate. Drive with caution
- Home is surrounded by nature, so you may see bugs or wildlife during your stay. We recommend using bug spray and doing tick checks after being outdoors, especially in the summer.
- The Catskills has an active bear population, especially in spring/summer. Never leave food outdoors or trash shed unlocked to avoid attracting them.
- Seasonal wood burning stove cannot be used when outdoor temperatures exceed 50 degrees F (safety issue)
- In rare times of heavy precipitation, the Catskills water table rises, which may cause the water to take on a slight mineral tint
- In the rare case of a town-mandated burn ban, certain amenities may not be used.
